Shipping Damage Free Guarantee
Accessory Shipments
Paddles, PFDs, dry bags, helmets, skirts, motors, rod holders, and accessories ship UPS, FedEx, or USPS Ground.
It lands on your doorstep like any other package. We email tracking the day it leaves our shop.
Order gear on the same order as a kayak we're hand delivering or shipping, and it comes with the kayak.
Kayak Shipments
We deliver kayaks two ways. Inside our delivery area, we bring your boat to you ourselves. Everywhere else, it ships LTL freight with a carrier that reports a 99.9% damage-free delivery rate. We'll tell you which one you're getting once your order is placed along with more details.
If we hand deliver it
Nothing to inspect, nothing to sign at the curb. We're the ones unloading your kayak, so if anything is wrong, tell us right there and we'll take care of it. We will call before hand for a meetup place.
If it ships LTL freight
Look the boat over before you sign the delivery receipt. If you see damage, write it on the receipt. That one step is what protects your claim. Then email clear photos to helpdesk@cfoutdoors.com within 2 hours of delivery. We also will email you more details on this process once the order is placed.
What we cover
Structural damage. Anything that compromises the hull or would void the manufacturer's warranty, confirmed with the vendor. We make it right.
Cosmetic damage. Light scratches or minor surface dents that don't affect performance or structure. We send a repair kit when one is available. If you'd rather have a replacement, a 20% restocking fee applies plus full shipping back to us.
The Eddyline Sandpiper 120 solves the problem nobody puts on a spec sheet: getting into the boat. With a large cockpit and great stability, Eddyline says getting in or out is a breeze even from a dock or a boat deck — which is exactly where a normal kayak cockpit turns into a wrestling match.
The cockpit is 48 by 22 inches. That is nearly a foot and a half longer than the Sky boats. You step in rather than thread yourself in, and you get out the same way at the end of a long day. Knee pads cushion the coaming, and the comfortable fixed seat suits paddlers of many sizes.
An 8-inch bow hatch and a 10-inch stern hatch cover storage, and there is ample deck space on top of that. Twenty-eight inches of beam, 350 pounds of capacity, and still only 38 pounds on your shoulder.
Every Eddyline is built from Carbonlite 2000. It is thermoformed rather than rotomolded, from a sheet of two or three compatible layers fused into one. Eddyline’s own description is that it “looks and performs like fiberglass” at a lower cost, and the outer surfaces are harder than other plastics and gel coatings, which is what gives you the abrasion and UV resistance. Compared with a polyethylene hull — cheap and impact resistant, but heavy and prone to abrasion and distortion — you get dimensional stability, real stiffness, and a boat that stays light without going to composite money.

Key Features
- 48" x 22" Cockpit: The reason to buy this boat. You step in instead of threading in, and you can do it from a dock or a boat deck.
- 350 lb Capacity: Highest in the twelve-foot Eddyline lineup. Paddler, gear, cooler, and a dog.
- 38 lbs: A twelve-foot boat with a huge cockpit that one person still loads alone.
- Cushioned Coaming: Knee pads on the coaming, because a large cockpit means your knees are against the rim.
- Fixed Seat, Many Sizes: Eddyline built it comfortable across a wide range of paddlers rather than tuned to one.
- 8" Bow and 10" Stern Hatches: Two openings at opposite ends, plus ample open deck space.
- Performance Foot Braces: Adjustable, so the fit comes to you.
- Retractable Carry Handles: Out of the way while you paddle, there when you carry.
Eddyline Sandpiper 120 Questions, Answered
Why does the cockpit size matter so much?
Because getting in and out is where most people struggle with a kayak, and it is where a bad experience starts. 48 by 22 inches means you step in rather than slide in, and it means you can board from a dock or a boat deck instead of only from a beach. If you have a bad knee, a bad back, or just do not enjoy the contortion, this is the boat.
Sandpiper 120 or Sandpiper 130?
Same 28-inch beam and the same 48 by 22-inch cockpit. The 130 adds a foot of length, 40 pounds of capacity, an 18-inch oval rear hatch and a framed seat you can pull out and use as a camp chair. It also weighs 54 pounds against 38. The 120 is the one you load alone; the 130 is the one you load up.
Sandpiper 120 or Sky 120?
Both twelve feet. The Sandpiper is wider, far easier to get in and out of, and carries 350 pounds. The Sky is narrower, tracks better and paddles more like a light touring boat. Comfort and access versus performance.
Can I take a dog or a kid in it?
The capacity is 350 pounds and the cockpit is nearly four feet long, so there is room and there is margin. Everyone aboard still wears a life jacket.
What is Carbonlite 2000?
It is Eddyline’s thermoformed hull material, and it is the reason these boats weigh what they weigh. A sheet of two or three compatible layers is fused into one and formed, rather than rotomolded. Eddyline says it “looks and performs like fiberglass” at a lower cost, with harder outer surfaces than other plastics and gel coatings for better abrasion and UV resistance. Scratches and gouges that do not penetrate the substrate are repairable.
What is the warranty?
Eddyline covers every kayak against defects in materials and workmanship for three years from the date of purchase. Deck rigging is covered for two years. The warranty is limited to the original owner and only takes effect once the warranty registration is completed, so do that when the boat arrives. Eddyline never covers scupper cart damage, freight damage, improper storage, improper use, abuse, normal wear and tear, or color fading from UV.
How do I take care of it?
Rinse it with clean fresh water after you paddle — that is usually all it needs. Never use acetone, other strong solvents, or ammonia-based cleaners on an Eddyline. Store it indoors if you can; if it lives outside, get it up off the ground, cover it, and secure it. Carbonlite is UV resistant, but years of direct sun will still break it down. Eddyline recommends treating the hatch covers regularly with something like 303 Aerospace Protectant.
What does “blemish” mean on some of these?
A blemish boat is a cosmetic second — a flaw in the finish that does not affect how the kayak paddles. You get the same hull, the same outfitting, and a lower price. Eddyline’s own policy is that the warranty is still in place on a blemished product, with the single exception of the blemish itself. If you would rather have the boat than the showroom finish, this is where the value is.
How does the Eddyline Sandpiper 120 ship?
Two ways. If you are inside our delivery area, local delivery shows up as a shipping option at checkout and we bring the boat to you ourselves. We call ahead to set a meet-up, and since we do the unloading there is nothing for you to inspect or sign at the curb. Otherwise it ships LTL freight with a carrier running a 99.9% damage-free rate. On a freight delivery, look the boat over before you sign the receipt and write down any damage you see. That one step protects your claim. Then email clear photos to helpdesk@cfoutdoors.com within 2 hours. We email the full details once your order is placed.
