Shipping Damage Free Guarantee
Accessory Shipments
Paddles, PFDs, dry bags, helmets, skirts, motors, rod holders, and accessories ship UPS, FedEx, or USPS Ground.
It lands on your doorstep like any other package. We email tracking the day it leaves our shop.
Order gear on the same order as a kayak we're hand delivering or shipping, and it comes with the kayak.
Kayak Shipments
We deliver kayaks two ways. Inside our delivery area, we bring your boat to you ourselves. Everywhere else, it ships LTL freight with a carrier that reports a 99.9% damage-free delivery rate. We'll tell you which one you're getting once your order is placed along with more details.
If we hand deliver it
Nothing to inspect, nothing to sign at the curb. We're the ones unloading your kayak, so if anything is wrong, tell us right there and we'll take care of it. We will call before hand for a meetup place.
If it ships LTL freight
Look the boat over before you sign the delivery receipt. If you see damage, write it on the receipt. That one step is what protects your claim. Then email clear photos to helpdesk@cfoutdoors.com within 2 hours of delivery. We also will email you more details on this process once the order is placed.
What we cover
Structural damage. Anything that compromises the hull or would void the manufacturer's warranty, confirmed with the vendor. We make it right.
Cosmetic damage. Light scratches or minor surface dents that don't affect performance or structure. We send a repair kit when one is available. If you'd rather have a replacement, a 20% restocking fee applies plus full shipping back to us.
The Eddyline Sky 100 is a ten-foot recreational kayak that weighs 34 pounds. That number is the whole point. It is the difference between a boat you paddle when the day works out and a boat you paddle because getting it on the car took one person and ninety seconds.
Eddyline’s own framing is that the Sky 100 gives you the safety and comfort features and the performance of a full-fledged sea kayak in a recreational size. The part that proves it is the bulkheads: sealed dual bulkheads bow and stern, standard. Most ten-foot rec kayaks give you one open hull and a foam block. Two sealed compartments mean flotation at both ends and dry storage you can actually use.
Every Eddyline is built from Carbonlite 2000. It is thermoformed rather than rotomolded, from a sheet of two or three compatible layers fused into one. Eddyline’s own description is that it “looks and performs like fiberglass” at a lower cost, and the outer surfaces are harder than other plastics and gel coatings, which is what gives you the abrasion and UV resistance. Compared with a polyethylene hull — cheap and impact resistant, but heavy and prone to abrasion and distortion — you get dimensional stability, real stiffness, and a boat that stays light without going to composite money.
Lakes, ponds, inshore water and Class I-II rivers and creeks. Rated to 250 pounds and sized for small to medium paddlers.

Key Features
- 34 lbs: The lightest boat in the Eddyline recreational line. One person car-tops it without a ramp, a lift, or a favor owed.
- Dual Sealed Bulkheads: Bow and stern, standard. Flotation at both ends and dry storage, which is not what a ten-foot rec kayak normally gives you.
- Sea Kayak DNA: Eddyline built the safety and comfort features and the performance of a full sea kayak into a recreational hull.
- Infinity Seat System: Eddyline’s seat with a backrest, sized for all-day sitting rather than an hour.
- Two 8" Round Hatches: Access to both sealed compartments without opening the whole deck.
- Recessed Deck Fittings: Bungees run through fittings set into the deck instead of hardware standing proud of it.
- Recreational Foot Braces: Adjustable, so the boat fits the paddler instead of the other way round.
- Carbonlite 2000 Hull: Harder outer surface than other plastics and gel coatings, for better abrasion and UV resistance.
Eddyline Sky 100 Questions, Answered
Is a ten-foot kayak too small for me?
Eddyline sizes the Sky 100 for small to medium paddlers and rates it to 250 pounds. If you are a larger paddler or want to carry real gear, look at the Sky 120 or a Sandpiper instead — those go to 295 and 350 pounds.
Sky 100 or Sky 120?
Same 26-inch beam, same cockpit, same seat. The 120 adds two feet, 7 pounds, and 45 pounds of capacity, and it tracks noticeably better on open water. Take the 100 if storage and loading are the deciding factors, the 120 if you want the boat to go straighter and carry more.
Why do the bulkheads matter?
Because a hull with sealed compartments at both ends floats level if you swim it, and it gives you storage that stays dry. Most kayaks this short have neither. Eddyline makes dual bulkheads standard on the Sky 100, which is unusual at ten feet.
Can one person load it?
Yes, and that is the reason to buy it. At 34 pounds it goes on a roof rack or in a truck bed without a second set of hands.
What is Carbonlite 2000?
It is Eddyline’s thermoformed hull material, and it is the reason these boats weigh what they weigh. A sheet of two or three compatible layers is fused into one and formed, rather than rotomolded. Eddyline says it “looks and performs like fiberglass” at a lower cost, with harder outer surfaces than other plastics and gel coatings for better abrasion and UV resistance. Scratches and gouges that do not penetrate the substrate are repairable.
What is the warranty?
Eddyline covers every kayak against defects in materials and workmanship for three years from the date of purchase. Deck rigging is covered for two years. The warranty is limited to the original owner and only takes effect once the warranty registration is completed, so do that when the boat arrives. Eddyline never covers scupper cart damage, freight damage, improper storage, improper use, abuse, normal wear and tear, or color fading from UV.
How do I take care of it?
Rinse it with clean fresh water after you paddle — that is usually all it needs. Never use acetone, other strong solvents, or ammonia-based cleaners on an Eddyline. Store it indoors if you can; if it lives outside, get it up off the ground, cover it, and secure it. Carbonlite is UV resistant, but years of direct sun will still break it down. Eddyline recommends treating the hatch covers regularly with something like 303 Aerospace Protectant.
What does “blemish” mean on some of these?
A blemish boat is a cosmetic second — a flaw in the finish that does not affect how the kayak paddles. You get the same hull, the same outfitting, and a lower price. Eddyline’s own policy is that the warranty is still in place on a blemished product, with the single exception of the blemish itself. If you would rather have the boat than the showroom finish, this is where the value is.
How does the Eddyline Sky 100 ship?
Two ways. If you are inside our delivery area, local delivery shows up as a shipping option at checkout and we bring the boat to you ourselves. We call ahead to set a meet-up, and since we do the unloading there is nothing for you to inspect or sign at the curb. Otherwise it ships LTL freight with a carrier running a 99.9% damage-free rate. On a freight delivery, look the boat over before you sign the receipt and write down any damage you see. That one step protects your claim. Then email clear photos to helpdesk@cfoutdoors.com within 2 hours. We email the full details once your order is placed.
The kayak is beautiful. I mostly want to rate Caney Fork Outdoors. Exceptional customer service. Shipping across the country was simple and exactly as stated. I will purchase through them again.
Thank you so much — that means a lot! We work hard to make shipping easy no matter where you are, and we'd love to have you back. Thanks for choosing Caney Fork Outdoors!
Love the kayak and paddle that Carney sold me online. Shipping was included but prices skyrocketed due to war - we agreed to delay shipping hoping war would end. When prices didn't dip Carney shipped anyway in time for my summer enjoyment. They were great communicators
Thank you so much for the wonderful review! It was truly our pleasure working with you through an unusual situation — we always want our customers to be able to enjoy their gear when they need it most, and we're so glad the kayak and paddle arrived in time for your summer. We hope you've have many great adventures on the water! We look forward to serving you again.
