The Jackson Kayak Big Rig FD is a sit-on-top pedal fishing kayak built for heavy loads and serious gear setups. It carries up to 550 lbs, the highest solo capacity in Jackson Kayak's fishing lineup, and its 40-inch-wide hull is stable enough to stand and fish from all day — on a lake, river, or saltwater flat.

The Flex Drive Mark IV pedal system covers water hands-free. Gear tracks run the full length of the deck, rod management is molded into the hull, and the bungee-less bow keeps hooks from snagging the deck. A four-bolt stern pattern handles PowerPole and trolling motor mounts. The transducer-ready scupper makes sonar installation clean. This is the kayak for bass tournaments on local lakes, river fishing, inshore saltwater, and any setup where gear organization matters.

2026 models come with the Comfort Seat 5.0. Jackson Kayak redesigned the seat system with a lower center of gravity and better all-day ergonomics. Models from 2025 and earlier include the Comfort Seat 4.0.

Yes. The oversized transducer-ready scupper accepts most large transducers, and the full-length gear tracks give you clean mounting points for the head unit and battery.

How does the Big Rig FD ship?

Two ways. If you are inside our delivery area, local delivery shows up as a shipping option at checkout and we bring the boat to you ourselves. We call ahead to set a meet-up, and since we do the unloading there is nothing for you to inspect or sign at the curb. Otherwise it ships LTL freight with a carrier running a 99.9% damage-free rate. On a freight delivery, look the boat over before you sign the receipt and write down any damage you see. That one step protects your claim.
