Shipping Damage Free Guarantee
Accessory Shipments
Paddles, PFDs, dry bags, helmets, skirts, motors, rod holders, and accessories ship UPS, FedEx, or USPS Ground.
It lands on your doorstep like any other package. We email tracking the day it leaves our shop.
Order gear on the same order as a kayak we're hand delivering or shipping, and it comes with the kayak.
Kayak Shipments
We deliver kayaks two ways. Inside our delivery area, we bring your boat to you ourselves. Everywhere else, it ships LTL freight with a carrier that reports a 99.9% damage-free delivery rate. We'll tell you which one you're getting once your order is placed along with more details.
If we hand deliver it
Nothing to inspect, nothing to sign at the curb. We're the ones unloading your kayak, so if anything is wrong, tell us right there and we'll take care of it. We will call before hand for a meetup place.
If it ships LTL freight
Look the boat over before you sign the delivery receipt. If you see damage, write it on the receipt. That one step is what protects your claim. Then email clear photos to helpdesk@cfoutdoors.com within 2 hours of delivery. We also will email you more details on this process once the order is placed.
What we cover
Structural damage. Anything that compromises the hull or would void the manufacturer's warranty, confirmed with the vendor. We make it right.
Cosmetic damage. Light scratches or minor surface dents that don't affect performance or structure. We send a repair kit when one is available. If you'd rather have a replacement, a 20% restocking fee applies plus full shipping back to us.
Native Watercraft Warranty
Kayaks and Drives
- Hulls: Limited lifetime against manufacturing defects, plus 5 years against normal wear and tear as determined by the Native Watercraft warranty team.
- Who it covers: Original retail customer. Grade 2 cosmetically blemished kayaks carry the same coverage.
- Components: 1 year from the original date of purchase.
- Propel pedal drive: 5 years from the purchase date against defects in workmanship and materials.
- Rental, livery or demo use: 1 year on the hull and all components.
Register within 14 days
Native Watercraft requires you to register your kayak, and your Propel drive if it has one, on the Native Watercraft website within 14 days of purchase for the warranty to activate. Keep your sales receipt as proof of purchase.
Not covered
Normal wear and color discoloration, structural or dimensional alterations, damage from improper storage or transport including ratchet straps, damage from winching the boat onto a trailer, use the kayak was not designed for, rental or commercial service, and color variation between boats. On the Propel drive, also skipped maintenance, transporting the kayak with the drive still in it, non-approved lubricants, and crank arms tightened past 26 ft/lb.
Filing a claim
Native Watercraft requires every warranty claim to come through the dealer you bought from. That is us, so we handle it. Email helpdesk@cfoutdoors.com with your proof of purchase, the model, the kayak and Propel serial numbers, a description of the issue, and photos or video. We submit it to Native Watercraft and follow it through.
The walk from the truck to the water is the part of kayak fishing nobody posts about. The Native Sidekick Wheel Transport System is built to end it: a wheel system that mounts to the boat’s groove track rather than being one more thing you drag along separately.
That is the difference between the Sidekick and a generic scupper cart. Native designs its Propel boats around it — the feature lists on the Titan X, Slayer Max and Hammer all say “Sidekick Wheel System Ready” and “Groove Track for Accessory and Sidekick Mounting.” It is part of the boat, not an accessory bolted to the outside of it.
Fitment, in Native’s words: it fits all Propel models except the LT and the Manta Ray. It comes ready to mount.
Mount it on the groove track only. The Sidekick goes on the black anodized groove track directly behind the seat and nowhere else on the hull. Mounting it anywhere else voids the warranty. The same wheel system is also sold under the Bonafide decal as the Bonafide Sidekick Kayak Cart, and that is where the published hardware detail comes from: 16 lbs, black finish, groove track mount.
Two loading notes before you roll. Keep no more than 50 lbs of added gear inside the kayak while the Sidekick is in use — roll the boat down with the heavy crate out and put it in at the water. And do not load the boat over rough terrain, over curbs, or out of the back of a pickup bed on the wheels. Lift it down first, then roll.

Native Watercraft Sidekick Wheel Transport System Questions, Answered
Will it fit my kayak?
Native states it fits all Propel models except the LT and the Manta Ray. If you are on a different boat or you are not sure which Propel you have, call us at (615) 696-7887 before you order and we will check it rather than guess.
Where exactly does it mount?
On the black anodized groove track directly behind the seat, and nowhere else. Mounting it anywhere else on the hull voids the warranty. This is the one instruction on this product worth reading twice.
Do I have to drill into my kayak?
No. It installs to the factory groove track that is already on the boat. No holes, no backing plates, nothing permanent.
How is this different from a scupper cart?
A scupper cart is a separate object you push the boat onto, then carry back to the truck or leave at the ramp. The Sidekick mounts to the groove track Native builds into the boat, which is why the Propel kayaks list it as a feature rather than an accessory.
What is the 50 pound number?
It is the guidance for how much gear you should have inside the kayak while you are rolling it on the Sidekick. It is not the cart’s capacity rating. Take the loaded crate and the battery out for the walk down and put them in at the water — a rigged fishing kayak passes 50 lbs faster than people expect.
Can I roll it over curbs or out of a truck bed?
Not recommended. Loading over rough terrain, over curbs, or out of the back of a pickup bed puts shock loads through the mount that it was not designed to take. Lift the boat down, then roll it.
How much does the Sidekick itself weigh?
16 lbs. The same wheel system is sold under the Bonafide decal as well, and that is the published weight for it. Light enough that it is not worth pulling off the boat between trips.
What are the wheel size and the width?
Neither brand publishes a wheel diameter, wheel material or an adjustable width range for the Sidekick, and we will not make numbers up. Call us at (615) 696-7887 and we will get the detail you need from our rep before you order.
I paddle a Bonafide. Is there a version for me?
Yes. The same wheel system is sold as the Bonafide Sidekick Kayak Cart, which fits the P127, PWR 129, RVR 119 and SKF117 — and the XTR 130 with the XTR 130 Adapter Kit. Buy the one built for your hull rather than assuming they interchange.
Does it stay on the boat while I fish?
Native does not state one way or the other on their product page, so we will not claim it. What we can tell you is that it mounts to the groove track rather than sitting under the hull.
How does it ship?
Ships parcel, nationwide. It packs down small enough to box, so it goes out as a standard ground shipment.
