Damage Free Guarantee

At Caney Fork Outdoors, we work with top-tier freight carriers across the country to ensure your kayak arrives quickly, safely, and ready for the water.

We’ve also partnered with a white-glove delivery service designed to greatly reduce the risk of shipping damage. Because of this enhanced delivery process, you will no longer be required to sign and physically inspect your kayak at delivery. This carrier maintains an exceptional 99.97% damage-free delivery rate, giving you added peace of mind from warehouse to doorstep.

In the rare event that damage does occur, Caney Fork Outdoors will take care of the issue as long as it is reported within 2 hours of delivery and clear photos are submitted via email. If the damage is cosmetic (such as light scratches or minor surface dents) and does not affect performance or structure, we will provide a repair kit when applicable. If you prefer a replacement for cosmetic issues, a 20% restocking fee may apply.

For clarity, “damage” refers to any condition that compromises the structural integrity of the kayak hull or would void the manufacturer’s warranty as confirmed with the vendor.

Bending Branches Warranty

Paddles

Bending Branches guarantees its paddles against manufacturing defects for two years from the date of purchase.

  • Coverage: 2 years from the date of purchase.
  • What it covers: Defects in materials and workmanship. Bending Branches reviews each case and decides what qualifies.
  • How a claim is handled: Repair or replacement. Bending Branches states it honors all reasonable requests.

Wood paddles: a worn-looking Rockgard tip is normal

Every wood paddle is hand dipped in varnish four times, then the drip residue is burnished off the tip. That can leave the Rockgard tip looking worn, and it shows up most on the black tips. It is normal and does not affect how the paddle performs.

Filing a claim

Warranty claims are handled by Bending Branches. Submit yours on their warranty page with photos and a description of the issue, and a Bending Branches representative will respond with next steps.

File a claim and read Bending Branches' full warranty policy.

The tried-and-true number one best-selling kayak fishing paddle.

The blade is smoother, larger and stronger than the one it replaced, which puts more horsepower and control behind every stroke. You get a smoother forward stroke with a stiffer feel, quieter entry and exit, and less chance for flutter. The upgraded fiberglass and nylon material is stronger and thicker, making it more durable long-term, and the fiberglass-reinforced nylon blades are designed for forgiveness and just the right amount of flex, keeping the kayak moving efficiently even with extra gear slowing you down.

The 100% fiberglass shaft is durable and strong, yet lighter than commodity aluminum, so it holds up in uncertain conditions without draining all your energy. Fiberglass is also warm, plus flexible and forgiving compared to aluminum. The shaft is ovalized where your hands go for comfort, control and fewer blisters, and a carbon ferrule insert is a sizable upgrade over plastic or glass inserts.

Bending Branches Angler Classic Questions, Answered

Why is the Angler Classic the best seller?

It is the point where the price and the paddle make the most sense for most kayak anglers. You get the full angler package, the hook retrieval system and the 40-inch tape measure, on a fiberglass shaft that is lighter and warmer than aluminum, without paying for carbon you may not need.

What does fiberglass do that aluminum does not?

Three things, per Bending Branches. It is lighter than commodity aluminum so it drains less of your energy. It is warm, which matters when aluminum pulls heat out of your hands. And it is more flexible and forgiving, so the shaft absorbs some of the shock instead of passing all of it to you.

Is a forgiving blade a bad thing?

Not here. Bending Branches builds the fiberglass-reinforced nylon blade for forgiveness and just the right amount of flex, which keeps a gear-loaded kayak moving efficiently. That is what a durable fishing blade is supposed to feel like.

Electric Green or Tidal Blue?

Bending Branches frames it plainly: Tidal Blue for the discrete approach, Electric Green for safety and standing out. If you fish clear shallow water and would rather not flash a bright blade, take the blue. If visibility to other boats matters more, take the green.

Angler Classic or Angler Ace?

The Ace steps up to a 100% carbon shaft and carbon-reinforced nylon blades at 30.5 oz. The Classic is fiberglass shaft and fiberglass-reinforced nylon at 35.5 oz. Five ounces and a stiffer blade is what the price difference buys.

How does it ship?

Ships parcel, nationwide. It breaks down into two pieces and boxes up, so it goes out as a standard ground shipment.
