Damage Free Guarantee
At Caney Fork Outdoors, we work with top-tier freight carriers across the country to ensure your kayak arrives quickly, safely, and ready for the water.
We’ve also partnered with a white-glove delivery service designed to greatly reduce the risk of shipping damage. Because of this enhanced delivery process, you will no longer be required to sign and physically inspect your kayak at delivery. This carrier maintains an exceptional 99.97% damage-free delivery rate, giving you added peace of mind from warehouse to doorstep.
In the rare event that damage does occur, Caney Fork Outdoors will take care of the issue as long as it is reported within 2 hours of delivery and clear photos are submitted via email. If the damage is cosmetic (such as light scratches or minor surface dents) and does not affect performance or structure, we will provide a repair kit when applicable. If you prefer a replacement for cosmetic issues, a 20% restocking fee may apply.
For clarity, “damage” refers to any condition that compromises the structural integrity of the kayak hull or would void the manufacturer’s warranty as confirmed with the vendor.
Bending Branches Warranty
Paddles
Bending Branches guarantees its paddles against manufacturing defects for two years from the date of purchase.
- Coverage: 2 years from the date of purchase.
- What it covers: Defects in materials and workmanship. Bending Branches reviews each case and decides what qualifies.
- How a claim is handled: Repair or replacement. Bending Branches states it honors all reasonable requests.
Wood paddles: a worn-looking Rockgard tip is normal
Every wood paddle is hand dipped in varnish four times, then the drip residue is burnished off the tip. That can leave the Rockgard tip looking worn, and it shows up most on the black tips. It is normal and does not affect how the paddle performs.
Filing a claim
Warranty claims are handled by Bending Branches. Submit yours on their warranty page with photos and a description of the issue, and a Bending Branches representative will respond with next steps.
File a claim and read Bending Branches' full warranty policy.
The opening price in Angler paddles just got better. Reliable blades for those rough on their gear.
The blade shape is designed to be large and powerful, giving more horsepower and control with every stroke, with a smoother forward stroke, less chance for flutter, a stiff feel, and quiet entry and exit. The fiberglass and nylon blade material is stronger and thicker than all other commodity paddle options, making it more durable and robust long-term, and the fiberglass in the blade is designed for forgiveness and just the right amount of flex, keeping the kayak moving efficiently even with extra gear slowing you down.
The aluminum shaft is as durable as they come, engineered for a tight finish and able to withstand the rigors of most paddling conditions. It is not the lightest option available, and it is very robust. The shaft has a vinyl wrap and is ovalized where the hands go for more comfort and control and to limit the chances for blisters.

Bending Branches Angler Drift Questions, Answered
Who is the Angler Drift for?
Bending Branches says it plainly: those rough on their gear. It is the opening price in the Angler line, with the aluminum shaft and thick fiberglass-reinforced nylon blades that take abuse. If your paddle lives in a truck bed and gets dragged across ramps, this is the one built for that life.
Is 38 oz too heavy?
It is the heaviest in the Angler line, and Bending Branches is upfront that the aluminum shaft is not the lightest option available. What they claim for it is durability, and that is the trade. If you want the weight down, the Angler Classic moves to a fiberglass shaft at 35.5 oz.
Angler Drift or Angler Classic?
Same blade material and the same 102.5 sq. in. blade. The Drift has an aluminum shaft and a fiberglass ferrule insert. The Classic steps up to a fiberglass shaft and a carbon ferrule insert, and drops 2.5 oz. The Drift is the value entry; the Classic is the upgrade.
What does the vinyl wrap do?
It is on the shaft where your hands go, along with the ovalizing. Together they give more comfort and control and limit the chances for blisters, which matters most on a metal shaft.
What length should I order?
It comes in the full range, 240 through 280cm, which Bending Branches offers so every angler can get the right option. Wider kayaks and higher seat positions call for a longer paddle.
How does it ship?
Ships parcel, nationwide. It breaks down into two pieces and boxes up, so it goes out as a standard ground shipment.
