Damage Free Guarantee
At Caney Fork Outdoors, we work with top-tier freight carriers across the country to ensure your kayak arrives quickly, safely, and ready for the water.
We’ve also partnered with a white-glove delivery service designed to greatly reduce the risk of shipping damage. Because of this enhanced delivery process, you will no longer be required to sign and physically inspect your kayak at delivery. This carrier maintains an exceptional 99.97% damage-free delivery rate, giving you added peace of mind from warehouse to doorstep.
In the rare event that damage does occur, Caney Fork Outdoors will take care of the issue as long as it is reported within 2 hours of delivery and clear photos are submitted via email. If the damage is cosmetic (such as light scratches or minor surface dents) and does not affect performance or structure, we will provide a repair kit when applicable. If you prefer a replacement for cosmetic issues, a 20% restocking fee may apply.
For clarity, “damage” refers to any condition that compromises the structural integrity of the kayak hull or would void the manufacturer’s warranty as confirmed with the vendor.
Bending Branches Warranty
Paddles
Bending Branches guarantees its paddles against manufacturing defects for two years from the date of purchase.
- Coverage: 2 years from the date of purchase.
- What it covers: Defects in materials and workmanship. Bending Branches reviews each case and decides what qualifies.
- How a claim is handled: Repair or replacement. Bending Branches states it honors all reasonable requests.
Wood paddles: a worn-looking Rockgard tip is normal
Every wood paddle is hand dipped in varnish four times, then the drip residue is burnished off the tip. That can leave the Rockgard tip looking worn, and it shows up most on the black tips. It is normal and does not affect how the paddle performs.
Filing a claim
Warranty claims are handled by Bending Branches. Submit yours on their warranty page with photos and a description of the issue, and a Bending Branches representative will respond with next steps.

The Angler Pro is the most used paddle by experienced anglers and Bending Branches ProStaffers, and it has taken Angler Paddle of the Year six times in the YakAngler consumer awards.
Blade patterns are designed and selected by the Bending Branches ProStaff and Ambassador teams. The compression molded fiberglass blades are known for their weight and their longevity, and the cross dimensional fiber weave gives them a slight amount of flex and forgiveness. The blade shape delivers a smooth forward stroke with zero tolerance for fluttering, which preserves your energy on longer trips.
The oversized blade is sized for horsepower and control behind a heavily loaded fishing kayak. It is slightly bigger than some fishing paddles, and that extra size is what lets it handle trickier conditions and more weight. The 100% carbon shaft is the lightest material available, with a tight, secure weave, and it is ovalized where your hands go for comfort, control and fewer blisters.

Bending Branches Angler Pro Questions, Answered
What makes the Angler Pro blade different?
Two things Bending Branches builds into it. The pattern is designed and selected by their ProStaff and Ambassador teams, who fish out of kayaks constantly. And the shape is built for a smooth forward stroke with zero tolerance for fluttering, so the blade tracks through the pull instead of wandering and costing you energy.
Why is the blade oversized?
Because a loaded fishing kayak takes more to move than a bare recreational boat. Bending Branches sizes this blade slightly bigger than some fishing paddles on purpose, and the larger surface is what handles trickier conditions and more weight on board.
What does compression molded fiberglass give up to carbon?
A little weight, and it gains forgiveness. Bending Branches builds these blades with a cross dimensional fiber weave, which leaves a slight amount of flex. They may show wear, and they tend to hold up well over the long haul. If you want the lightest and stiffest blade in the line, that is the Angler Pro Carbon.
What does the ovalized shaft do?
It is shaped oval where your hands sit rather than fully round. Your hands know the blade angle by feel, which matters when you are watching a rod tip instead of your grip, and it limits the chances of blisters over a long day.
Can I use the tape measure to check a legal fish?
Not officially. Bending Branches is clear that the tape is a sizing guide, not an official measuring tool for competitive angling or for determining the legality of a catch, and the printing can vary in accuracy from the manufacturing process. It is there for a quick check on the water. Carry a real bump board for anything that counts.
What is the warranty?
A 2-year manufacturing warranty from Bending Branches. Every paddle is hand built in Osceola, Wisconsin by their own team.
How does it ship?
Ships parcel, nationwide. It breaks down into two pieces and boxes up, so it goes out as a standard ground shipment.
