Shipping Damage Free Guarantee
Accessory Shipments
Paddles, PFDs, dry bags, helmets, skirts, motors, rod holders, and accessories ship UPS, FedEx, or USPS Ground.
It lands on your doorstep like any other package. We email tracking the day it leaves our shop.
Order gear on the same order as a kayak we're hand delivering or shipping, and it comes with the kayak.
Kayak Shipments
We deliver kayaks two ways. Inside our delivery area, we bring your boat to you ourselves. Everywhere else, it ships LTL freight with a carrier that reports a 99.9% damage-free delivery rate. We'll tell you which one you're getting once your order is placed along with more details.
If we hand deliver it
Nothing to inspect, nothing to sign at the curb. We're the ones unloading your kayak, so if anything is wrong, tell us right there and we'll take care of it. We will call before hand for a meetup place.
If it ships LTL freight
Look the boat over before you sign the delivery receipt. If you see damage, write it on the receipt. That one step is what protects your claim. Then email clear photos to helpdesk@cfoutdoors.com within 2 hours of delivery. We also will email you more details on this process once the order is placed.
What we cover
Structural damage. Anything that compromises the hull or would void the manufacturer's warranty, confirmed with the vendor. We make it right.
Cosmetic damage. Light scratches or minor surface dents that don't affect performance or structure. We send a repair kit when one is available. If you'd rather have a replacement, a 20% restocking fee applies plus full shipping back to us.
Native Watercraft Warranty
Kayaks and Drives
- Hulls: Limited lifetime against manufacturing defects, plus 5 years against normal wear and tear as determined by the Native Watercraft warranty team.
- Who it covers: Original retail customer. Grade 2 cosmetically blemished kayaks carry the same coverage.
- Components: 1 year from the original date of purchase.
- Propel pedal drive: 5 years from the purchase date against defects in workmanship and materials.
- Rental, livery or demo use: 1 year on the hull and all components.
Register within 14 days
Native Watercraft requires you to register your kayak, and your Propel drive if it has one, on the Native Watercraft website within 14 days of purchase for the warranty to activate. Keep your sales receipt as proof of purchase.
Not covered
Normal wear and color discoloration, structural or dimensional alterations, damage from improper storage or transport including ratchet straps, damage from winching the boat onto a trailer, use the kayak was not designed for, rental or commercial service, and color variation between boats. On the Propel drive, also skipped maintenance, transporting the kayak with the drive still in it, non-approved lubricants, and crank arms tightened past 26 ft/lb.
Filing a claim
Native Watercraft requires every warranty claim to come through the dealer you bought from. That is us, so we handle it. Email helpdesk@cfoutdoors.com with your proof of purchase, the model, the kayak and Propel serial numbers, a description of the issue, and photos or video. We submit it to Native Watercraft and follow it through.
Native calls the Titan X 12.5 their most advanced watercraft yet, and the spec sheet backs it. Twelve foot eight, 40 inches wide, rated to 500 pounds, running the Propel Pedal Drive 701 Series.
The Propel Pedal Drive is the reason people buy Native. Native builds it around one idea — hands-free forward and reverse. Not lift it out and spin the boat around; reverse, under your feet, the moment you need it. It runs a 10:1 gear ratio, Native has been building it since 2008, it is made in the USA with domestic and foreign parts, and it carries a 5 year warranty against manufacturer defects — with the first 2 years covering any issue top to bottom.
Forty inches is the widest hull in the Native line outside the Hammer. Standing on it is not an event. Combined with a twelve-and-a-half-foot waterline you get a boat that tracks on open water and still gives you a deck you can work all day.
The wiring is the other story. Through-hull transducer wiring in the hatch, integrated bow battery storage, a stern battery compartment that fits a 100AH or dual 60AH, quick access wiring, a PowerLink electronics plate and groove track for the PowerLink graph bar. PivotPro swivel seating with a tackle management drawer underneath. Springblade rudder control, Power-Pole Micro anchor mount ready, stern motor mount, and inserts for a bow motor mount plate.

Native Watercraft Titan X Propel 12.5 Questions, Answered
What is the Propel Pedal Drive?
Native’s pedal drive, and the thing the brand is known for. The headline is hands-free forward and reverse — you back off a snag, hold against current or reposition without ever picking up a paddle or turning the boat around. It runs a 10:1 gear ratio and Native has been building it since 2008. This boat uses the 701 Series drive.
Titan X 12.5 or Titan X 10.5?
Identical feature set and the same drive and seat. The 12.5 gives you two more feet, two more inches of beam, and 25 more pounds of capacity, and it tracks better on open water. The Titan X Propel 10.5 is 23 pounds lighter rigged and turns tighter. Water first, transport second.
Titan X 12.5 or the Hammer 1210?
The Hammer 1210 is the only boat with the patent-pending X-Range drive, the only one rated to 650 lbs, and the one built around running a motor as a designed-in system. The Titan X 12.5 is the most advanced boat in the Propel 701 line. If a motor is the plan from day one, look hard at the Hammer.
Can I really stand on it all day?
Forty inches over a twelve-foot-eight waterline with no-slip deck padding is about as settled as a kayak gets. Anglers stand and fish on it in wind and boat wake.
How do I get 172 pounds to the water?
Honestly, with help or with wheels. This is a trailer boat or a two-person lift, and the Native Sidekick handles the walk from the truck. Do not plan on car-topping it alone.
What is the warranty on the drive?
Native covers the Propel drive for 5 years against manufacturer defects, and the first 2 years are top-to-bottom coverage of any issue. It is made in the USA with domestic and foreign parts. For the hull warranty and current terms, ask us and we will get you the exact policy in writing before you buy.
How does the Native Watercraft Titan X Propel 12.5 ship?
Two ways. If you are inside our delivery area, local delivery shows up as a shipping option at checkout and we bring the boat to you ourselves. We call ahead to set a meet-up, and since we do the unloading there is nothing for you to inspect or sign at the curb. Otherwise it ships LTL freight with a carrier running a 99.9% damage-free rate. On a freight delivery, look the boat over before you sign the receipt and write down any damage you see. That one step protects your claim. Then email clear photos to helpdesk@cfoutdoors.com within 2 hours. We email the full details once your order is placed.
