Shipping Damage Free Guarantee

Accessory Shipments

Paddles, PFDs, dry bags, helmets, skirts, motors, rod holders, and accessories ship UPS, FedEx, or USPS Ground.

It lands on your doorstep like any other package. We email tracking the day it leaves our shop.

Order gear on the same order as a kayak we're hand delivering or shipping, and it comes with the kayak.

Kayak Shipments

We deliver kayaks two ways. Inside our delivery area, we bring your boat to you ourselves. Everywhere else, it ships LTL freight with a carrier that reports a 99.9% damage-free delivery rate. We'll tell you which one you're getting once your order is placed along with more details.

If we hand deliver it

Nothing to inspect, nothing to sign at the curb. We're the ones unloading your kayak, so if anything is wrong, tell us right there and we'll take care of it. We will call before hand for a meetup place.

If it ships LTL freight

Look the boat over before you sign the delivery receipt. If you see damage, write it on the receipt. That one step is what protects your claim. Then email clear photos to helpdesk@cfoutdoors.com within 2 hours of delivery. We also will email you more details on this process once the order is placed.

What we cover

Structural damage. Anything that compromises the hull or would void the manufacturer's warranty, confirmed with the vendor. We make it right.

Cosmetic damage. Light scratches or minor surface dents that don't affect performance or structure. We send a repair kit when one is available. If you'd rather have a replacement, a 20% restocking fee applies plus full shipping back to us.

Native Watercraft Warranty

Kayaks and Drives

  • Hulls: Limited lifetime against manufacturing defects, plus 5 years against normal wear and tear as determined by the Native Watercraft warranty team.
  • Who it covers: Original retail customer. Grade 2 cosmetically blemished kayaks carry the same coverage.
  • Components: 1 year from the original date of purchase.
  • Propel pedal drive: 5 years from the purchase date against defects in workmanship and materials.
  • Rental, livery or demo use: 1 year on the hull and all components.

Register within 14 days

Native Watercraft requires you to register your kayak, and your Propel drive if it has one, on the Native Watercraft website within 14 days of purchase for the warranty to activate. Keep your sales receipt as proof of purchase.

Not covered

Normal wear and color discoloration, structural or dimensional alterations, damage from improper storage or transport including ratchet straps, damage from winching the boat onto a trailer, use the kayak was not designed for, rental or commercial service, and color variation between boats. On the Propel drive, also skipped maintenance, transporting the kayak with the drive still in it, non-approved lubricants, and crank arms tightened past 26 ft/lb.

Filing a claim

Native Watercraft requires every warranty claim to come through the dealer you bought from. That is us, so we handle it. Email helpdesk@cfoutdoors.com with your proof of purchase, the model, the kayak and Propel serial numbers, a description of the issue, and photos or video. We submit it to Native Watercraft and follow it through.

The Slayer Propel 10 is the compact Slayer that put a Propel Pedal Drive in a ten-foot hull. Small enough to turn in a creek arm, pedal-powered so your hands stay on the rod.

Heads up before you read further: this is a previous-generation boat. Native has moved this model out of the current lineup, so what you are looking at is remaining stock at a closeout price. The hull, the drive and the warranty are exactly what they were when it was current — it is simply no longer the model Native is building today. If you would rather have the current one, we say which below.

The Propel Pedal Drive is the reason people buy Native. Native builds it around one idea — hands-free forward and reverse. Not lift it out and spin the boat around; reverse, under your feet, the moment you need it. It runs a 10:1 gear ratio, Native has been building it since 2008, it is made in the USA with domestic and foreign parts, and it carries a 5 year warranty against manufacturer defects — with the first 2 years covering any issue top to bottom.

Ten feet is the reason this boat exists. Backwaters, creek arms, small lakes and anywhere a twelve-foot hull spends the day fighting you. Add a pedal drive with real reverse and you can hold a position over a brush pile instead of drifting off it every thirty seconds.

Specifications

Key Features

  • Ten Foot Hull: Turns inside its own length. Creeks, backwaters and small lakes.
  • Hands Stay on the Rod: The point of any pedal boat, and the reason reverse matters more than speed.

  • Drive Warranty Unchanged: 5 years against manufacturer defects, first 2 years top to bottom.

Native Watercraft Slayer Propel 10 Questions, Answered

Why is this cheaper than the other Slayers?

Because Native has moved it out of the current lineup and this is remaining stock. Nothing is wrong with the boat — it is the previous generation, and the price reflects that rather than the condition.

What replaced it?

Two boats, depending on what you want. The Slayer Propel 10 LTE is the light, grab-and-go ten-footer at 65 lbs and 425 lbs capacity. The Slayer Propel Max 10 is the rigged-out ten-footer with three electronics plates and integrated battery storage. Both run the current Propel 701 drive.

Do I still get the drive warranty?

Yes. Native covers the Propel drive for 5 years against manufacturer defects, with the first 2 years covering any issue top to bottom. Buying previous-generation stock does not change that.

Can I still get parts for it?

The Propel drive has been in production since 2008 and Native supports it. For a specific part on this model, call us at (615) 696-7887 and we will confirm availability with our rep before you order.

What are the exact dimensions and capacity?

Native no longer publishes a spec sheet for this model, and we are not going to invent numbers on a boat you are spending two thousand dollars on. Call us at (615) 696-7887 and we will measure the boat in stock and tell you exactly what you are getting.

Can I get it to the water by myself?

This is where the Native Sidekick Wheel Transport System earns its money. The Slayer Propel 10 is groove-track equipped and Sidekick ready, so the cart mounts to the boat rather than being something separate you drag along. Native says the Sidekick fits all Propel models except the LT and Manta Ray.

How does the Native Watercraft Slayer Propel 10 ship?

Two ways. If you are inside our delivery area, local delivery shows up as a shipping option at checkout and we bring the boat to you ourselves. We call ahead to set a meet-up, and since we do the unloading there is nothing for you to inspect or sign at the curb. Otherwise it ships LTL freight with a carrier running a 99.9% damage-free rate. On a freight delivery, look the boat over before you sign the receipt and write down any damage you see. That one step protects your claim. Then email clear photos to helpdesk@cfoutdoors.com within 2 hours. We email the full details once your order is placed.
