Shipping Damage Free Guarantee
Accessory Shipments
Paddles, PFDs, dry bags, helmets, skirts, motors, rod holders, and accessories ship UPS, FedEx, or USPS Ground.
It lands on your doorstep like any other package. We email tracking the day it leaves our shop.
Order gear on the same order as a kayak we're hand delivering or shipping, and it comes with the kayak.
Kayak Shipments
We deliver kayaks two ways. Inside our delivery area, we bring your boat to you ourselves. Everywhere else, it ships LTL freight with a carrier that reports a 99.9% damage-free delivery rate. We'll tell you which one you're getting once your order is placed along with more details.
If we hand deliver it
Nothing to inspect, nothing to sign at the curb. We're the ones unloading your kayak, so if anything is wrong, tell us right there and we'll take care of it. We will call before hand for a meetup place.
If it ships LTL freight
Look the boat over before you sign the delivery receipt. If you see damage, write it on the receipt. That one step is what protects your claim. Then email clear photos to helpdesk@cfoutdoors.com within 2 hours of delivery. We also will email you more details on this process once the order is placed.
What we cover
Structural damage. Anything that compromises the hull or would void the manufacturer's warranty, confirmed with the vendor. We make it right.

The Badfish Ark 13 Raft is the most versatile boat in the Badfish lineup, with space for six passengers. It handles class V whitewater, overnight trips, fishing trips, and everything in between, named for the Arkansas River and its legendary rafting history.
Badfish builds the Ark with DuraClear commercial grade fabric, a 44 oz/3000-denier PVC they were the first to use on inflatable boats. DuraClear is easier to keep clean and shows less wear over the life of the boat. Every raft is radio frequency and hot air welded, and the primary air chambers are triple seamed to stay airtight season after season.
Eight chambers with Leafield D-7 valves, adjustable thwarts, and 12 stainless steel D-rings give you a rig that adapts from paddle raft to gear boat. A repair kit, valve wrench, and storage wrap come with it, covered by a 6-year retail and 3-year commercial warranty on workmanship and materials.

Badfish Ark 13 Raft Questions, Answered
How many people does it hold?
Six passengers. In practice that means a full paddle crew on a day run, or a smaller group with enough gear for an overnight. The 13' x 75" footprint is the standard size most commercial outfitters run for a reason.
What is DuraClear, and does it actually matter?
It is a 44 oz/3000-denier PVC, and Badfish was the first to put it on inflatable boats. Two practical differences: it wipes clean instead of staining, and it shows less wear over years of sun and gravel. On a boat you plan to keep a decade, the fabric is the decision.
Ark 13 or Ark 10'6"?
Ark 13 if you are running a crew, carrying overnight gear, or want the boat that handles the biggest water. Ark 10'6" if it is usually you and one or two others, and you want a raft that packs into a car instead of needing a trailer. The 13 is 126 lbs; the 10'6" is 94 lbs.
Can I rig it as a gear boat?
Yes. The thwarts adjust, and there are 12 stainless steel D-rings to strap a frame, dry boxes, and coolers to. It is a paddle raft on Saturday and an overnight gear boat on Sunday without buying a second hull.
Is class V a real rating or marketing?
It is what the boat is built for. Eight air chambers with Leafield D-7 valves, triple-seamed primary chambers, and welded rather than glued seams are the construction details that hold up in that water. That said, class V is about the crew as much as the boat.
What comes with it?
A repair kit, a valve wrench, and a storage wrap. Warranty is 6 years retail on workmanship and materials, 3 years if you are running it commercially.
How does it ship?
Ships parcel, nationwide. It rolls down into its storage wrap and boxes up, so it goes out as a standard ground shipment.
