It lands on your doorstep like any other package. We email tracking the day it leaves our shop.
Order gear on the same order as a kayak we're hand delivering or shipping, and it comes with the kayak.
Kayak Shipments
We deliver kayaks two ways. Inside our delivery area, we bring your boat to you ourselves. Everywhere else, it ships LTL freight with a carrier that reports a 99.9% damage-free delivery rate. We'll tell you which one you're getting once your order is placed along with more details.
If we hand deliver it
Nothing to inspect, nothing to sign at the curb. We're the ones unloading your kayak, so if anything is wrong, tell us right there and we'll take care of it. We will call before hand for a meetup place.
If it ships LTL freight
Look the boat over before you sign the delivery receipt. If you see damage, write it on the receipt. That one step is what protects your claim. Then email clear photos to helpdesk@cfoutdoors.com within 2 hours of delivery. We also will email you more details on this process once the order is placed.
What we cover

Comfy, grippy, low profile. Cottonmouth Nose Plugs offer the latest in quality, design and style. They keep the water out without feeling like your nose is in a vice. Its bite is gentle.
That last part is the whole argument for them. A nose plug that clamps hard will keep water out and give you a headache by the third rapid, so you stop wearing it and go back to taking water up your sinuses every time you roll. This one grips without the squeeze.
They are made with a high-quality wire that has both strength and durability, and the wire is covered so the nose padding grips well and resists separating. Built to last in Asheville, North Carolina.

Cottonmouth Nose Plugs Questions, Answered
Do I actually need nose plugs for kayaking?
If you are rolling, yes. Going upside down in current pushes water straight up your sinuses, and that stings enough to rush the roll and blow it. Most paddlers learning to roll, and most whitewater boaters running anything pushy, wear them every session. On flatwater where you are not going over, you will never think about them.
Will they stay on if I flip or swim?
NRS builds these comfy, grippy and low profile, and the covered wire is what makes the padding grip rather than slide. Low profile matters here too, since there is less sticking out for a paddle shaft or a hand to knock loose.
Are they adjustable?
Yes. Adjustable fit is a listed feature, and the wire is what lets you do it. Bend them narrower or wider until they hold without pinching. That is a two-second adjustment that decides whether you actually wear them.
Will they pinch or give me a headache?
That is the specific problem these were designed around. NRS puts it plainly: they keep the water out without feeling like your nose is in a vice, and the bite is gentle. A plug you can tolerate for a full day is worth more than one that seals perfectly for twenty minutes.
What color will I get?
Assorted. NRS ships these in mixed colors, so we cannot promise a specific one. At this price most paddlers own two or three pairs anyway, because a nose plug is the single easiest piece of gear to leave at the takeout.
How does it ship?
Ships parcel, nationwide. It packs down small enough to box, so it goes out as a standard ground shipment.
