This week in Utah, Jackson kayak has shown once again why they are on superior when it comes to kayaks. They have unleashed an armada of of new fishing kayaks to the world, and I must say, I am stoked. First, there is the almighty Kraken, the name alone should strike fear into the heart of fish everywhere. With open water in mind, this kayak should make short work of any lake or ocean it comes into contact with. I for one cannot wait to get my hands on one, and see what it can do in the river. Then there is the Coosa HD, this is Drew Gregory’s signature kayak. The Coosa is a true river boat, made for small fast water and for getting into those tight spots where other boats just cannot get to. Jackson has improved upon its design further by adding a new hinged center console, a bungee cord free hatch in front, and rod tip protectors like the Big Rig. Also introduced, is the new Cuda Lt, this is Jacksons first thermoformed boat making it 25 percent lighter than its predecessor. I could go on and on talking about the specs of these new boats, but I would like to go back to my first statement where I said Jackson Kayak is superior to all other kayaks. The reason is, they are always innovating and making things better for the people that use their products. For instance, they have improved upon an already comfortable seat by adding even more seating positions and storage flaps on the sides to keep your belongings high and dry. They listen to their fan base and make the changes that need to be made in order to keep making a superior product. If you haven’t had the pleasure of paddling a Jackson Kayak, I highly recommend getting one and giving her a go, you will not regret it, I promise.
