Shipping Damage Free Guarantee
Accessory Shipments
Paddles, PFDs, dry bags, helmets, skirts, motors, rod holders, and accessories ship UPS, FedEx, or USPS Ground.
It lands on your doorstep like any other package. We email tracking the day it leaves our shop.
Order gear on the same order as a kayak we're hand delivering or shipping, and it comes with the kayak.
Kayak Shipments
We deliver kayaks two ways. Inside our delivery area, we bring your boat to you ourselves. Everywhere else, it ships LTL freight with a carrier that reports a 99.9% damage-free delivery rate. We'll tell you which one you're getting once your order is placed along with more details.
If we hand deliver it
Nothing to inspect, nothing to sign at the curb. We're the ones unloading your kayak, so if anything is wrong, tell us right there and we'll take care of it. We will call before hand for a meetup place.
If it ships LTL freight
Look the boat over before you sign the delivery receipt. If you see damage, write it on the receipt. That one step is what protects your claim. Then email clear photos to helpdesk@cfoutdoors.com within 2 hours of delivery. We also will email you more details on this process once the order is placed.

The Badfish Hammer Paddle Cat lets you and a friend take on the hardest rivers in a boat that stays nimble. The 24" tubes give a stable, dry ride, and the reduced drag of the pontoon design paddles effortlessly through the water.
It delivers big boat performance with the ease of small boat travel and storage. D-rings are placed to take the Badfish splash guard, which comes included, or a rowing frame, so the same hull works as a paddle cat or a rowed fishing rig.
Like every Badfish boat, the Hammer Cat is built from DuraClear commercial grade PVC, radio frequency and hot air welded, with triple-seamed primary air chambers. A repair kit, valve wrench, and storage wrap are in the box, covered by a 6-year retail and 3-year commercial warranty.

Badfish Hammer Paddle Cat Questions, Answered
What is a cataraft, and why pick one over a raft?
A cataraft is two pontoons with a frame or cockpit between them instead of a solid floor. Less hull in the water means less drag, so it paddles easier and rides drier. On pushy whitewater with two people, it is the livelier boat. A raft is the better choice for a bigger crew or a lot of gear.
Can I row it as a fishing rig?
Yes. There are 16 stainless steel D-rings and front foot cups, positioned to take a rowing frame. The same hull is a paddle cat on a whitewater day and a rowed fishing platform on a float, which is a lot of boat for one purchase.
Is the splash guard included or extra?
Included. The Badfish splash guard comes in the box and rigs directly to the D-rings. On cold water that is the difference between a good day and a short one.
How hard is it to move and store?
It is 55 lbs, which is the lightest boat in the Badfish raft lineup by a wide margin. One person can carry it, it fits in a vehicle, and it rolls into its storage wrap for the off season. No trailer, no rack, no storage unit.
Hammer Paddle Cat or Ark 10'6"?
Hammer if it is usually two of you on harder whitewater and you want the driest, quickest boat. Ark 10'6" if you want a floor under you, room for a family, and the more forgiving all-around raft. The Hammer is 55 lbs, the Ark is 94.
What comes with it?
Splash guard, repair kit, valve wrench, and storage wrap. Warranty is 6 years retail on workmanship and materials, 3 years commercial.
How does it ship?
Ships parcel, nationwide. It rolls down into its storage wrap and boxes up, so it goes out as a standard ground shipment.
