Shipping Damage Free Guarantee
Accessory Shipments
Paddles, PFDs, dry bags, helmets, skirts, motors, rod holders, and accessories ship UPS, FedEx, or USPS Ground.
It lands on your doorstep like any other package. We email tracking the day it leaves our shop.
Order gear on the same order as a kayak we're hand delivering or shipping, and it comes with the kayak.
Kayak Shipments
We deliver kayaks two ways. Inside our delivery area, we bring your boat to you ourselves. Everywhere else, it ships LTL freight with a carrier that reports a 99.9% damage-free delivery rate. We'll tell you which one you're getting once your order is placed along with more details.
If we hand deliver it
Nothing to inspect, nothing to sign at the curb. We're the ones unloading your kayak, so if anything is wrong, tell us right there and we'll take care of it. We will call before hand for a meetup place.
If it ships LTL freight
Look the boat over before you sign the delivery receipt. If you see damage, write it on the receipt. That one step is what protects your claim. Then email clear photos to helpdesk@cfoutdoors.com within 2 hours of delivery. We also will email you more details on this process once the order is placed.
What we cover

The Badfish Perch Fishing Chair turns any D-ring-equipped paddleboard into a stable, kayak-style fishing seat. It straps on in minutes and gives you a low center of gravity for casting, tying on lures, and fighting fish on lakes, rivers, and slow-moving water.
The seat uses breathable 3D fabric and a neoprene flex panel, so it stays comfortable through long days on the water. The backrest adjusts to fit your position, and welded aluminum tube construction keeps the frame light without flexing under weight. Four included cam straps attach the Perch directly to the Badfisher or any board with matching D-ring anchor points.
Storage space under the seat keeps tackle and gear within reach without cluttering the deck. The Perch weighs 12 lbs and swaps in fast, so you can fish from a paddleboard without hauling around the extra weight of a dedicated fishing kayak.

Badfish Perch Fishing Chair Questions, Answered
Will it fit my paddleboard?
If your board has D-rings in a matching layout, yes. It was designed around the Badfisher, and it mounts to the kayak-seat D-rings on the Monarch. Four cam straps come with it. Check that your board has D-rings set for a seat, not just deck tie-downs.
Does sitting down make the board less stable?
The opposite. Sitting drops your center of gravity, so the board is steadier when you lean out to cast or reach for a net. That is the whole reason to add a seat rather than fish standing up.
How long does it take to put on and take off?
A couple of minutes each way with the four cam straps. It is meant to be swapped, so you can fish from the board in the morning and paddle it standing in the afternoon without owning two boats.
Is it comfortable for a full day?
That is what the 3D fabric and the neoprene flex panel are for. The fabric breathes instead of trapping heat and water, and the panel flexes with your back. The backrest angle adjusts so you are not locked into one position for six hours.
Where does my tackle go?
Under the seat. There is open space beneath the frame for a tackle tray, a small dry bag, or a stringer, which keeps the deck clear so you are not stepping over gear every time you move.
Perch or just buy a fishing kayak?
If you already own a D-ring board, the Perch gets you kayak-style fishing for 12 lbs and a fraction of the cost, and you keep the board you have. A dedicated fishing kayak wins on outright stability and rod storage, but it is another hull to store and haul.
