Shipping Damage Free Guarantee
Accessory Shipments
Paddles, PFDs, dry bags, helmets, skirts, motors, rod holders, and accessories ship UPS, FedEx, or USPS Ground.
It lands on your doorstep like any other package. We email tracking the day it leaves our shop.
Order gear on the same order as a kayak we're hand delivering or shipping, and it comes with the kayak.
Kayak Shipments
We deliver kayaks two ways. Inside our delivery area, we bring your boat to you ourselves. Everywhere else, it ships LTL freight with a carrier that reports a 99.9% damage-free delivery rate. We'll tell you which one you're getting once your order is placed along with more details.
If we hand deliver it
Nothing to inspect, nothing to sign at the curb. We're the ones unloading your kayak, so if anything is wrong, tell us right there and we'll take care of it. We will call before hand for a meetup place.
If it ships LTL freight
Look the boat over before you sign the delivery receipt. If you see damage, write it on the receipt. That one step is what protects your claim. Then email clear photos to helpdesk@cfoutdoors.com within 2 hours of delivery. We also will email you more details on this process once the order is placed.
What we cover
Structural damage. Anything that compromises the hull or would void the manufacturer's warranty, confirmed with the vendor. We make it right.
Cosmetic damage. Light scratches or minor surface dents that don't affect performance or structure. We send a repair kit when one is available. If you'd rather have a replacement, a 20% restocking fee applies plus full shipping back to us.

The Badfish Snapper Board Bag is the padded travel bag for your Snapper or Shuvit. Boards do not get damaged on the water nearly as often as they get damaged getting to it, and the padding here takes the hits from tailgates, truck beds and gravel lots so the board does not.
The wear patches are the detail worth paying attention to. Cordura reinforces the nose and tail, which is exactly where a bag wears through first from being set down and dragged. The rest of the bag lasts a lot longer once those two points are covered.
A removable shoulder strap handles the walk from the lot to the wave, and the zipper is built heavy enough to survive being opened with sandy hands all season.

Badfish Snapper Board Bag Questions, Answered
Which boards does it fit?
The Badfish Snapper and the Shuvit. Those two share a close enough outline to use the same bag. It is not the bag for an SK8 or a River Surfer, which each have their own.
Is this different from the board sock?
Yes, and the difference matters. A sock is thin terry cloth for sun and scuffs in the garage. This is a padded bag built for transport, which is what you want on a roof rack, in a truck bed, or on a flight.
Can I fly with it?
It is a padded travel bag, so it is the right tool for it. Airlines vary on oversize fees and handling, so check with the carrier, and pad the nose and tail further with towels for anything long haul.
Why does it weigh 7.5 pounds?
Because the padding is real. A lighter bag means less foam between your board and whatever it lands on. That weight is the protection you are buying.
Can I leave the fins in?
Pull removable fins first. Fins left in press against the bag and put load on the boxes in transit, which is a slow way to damage the thing you are protecting.
Does it hold a wet board?
It will get you home, but do not store a wet board zipped in it. Open the bag and let both dry, or you will find mildew on the lining and a soft spot on the board.
