Shipping Damage Free Guarantee
Accessory Shipments
Paddles, PFDs, dry bags, helmets, skirts, motors, rod holders, and accessories ship UPS, FedEx, or USPS Ground.
It lands on your doorstep like any other package. We email tracking the day it leaves our shop.
Order gear on the same order as a kayak we're hand delivering or shipping, and it comes with the kayak.
Kayak Shipments
We deliver kayaks two ways. Inside our delivery area, we bring your boat to you ourselves. Everywhere else, it ships LTL freight with a carrier that reports a 99.9% damage-free delivery rate. We'll tell you which one you're getting once your order is placed along with more details.
If we hand deliver it
Nothing to inspect, nothing to sign at the curb. We're the ones unloading your kayak, so if anything is wrong, tell us right there and we'll take care of it. We will call before hand for a meetup place.
If it ships LTL freight
Look the boat over before you sign the delivery receipt. If you see damage, write it on the receipt. That one step is what protects your claim. Then email clear photos to helpdesk@cfoutdoors.com within 2 hours of delivery. We also will email you more details on this process once the order is placed.
What we cover
Structural damage. Anything that compromises the hull or would void the manufacturer's warranty, confirmed with the vendor. We make it right.
Cosmetic damage. Light scratches or minor surface dents that don't affect performance or structure. We send a repair kit when one is available. If you'd rather have a replacement, a 20% restocking fee applies plus full shipping back to us.
Bending Branches Warranty
Paddles
Bending Branches guarantees its paddles against manufacturing defects for two years from the date of purchase.
- Coverage: 2 years from the date of purchase.
- What it covers: Defects in materials and workmanship. Bending Branches reviews each case and decides what qualifies.
- How a claim is handled: Repair or replacement. Bending Branches states it honors all reasonable requests.
Wood paddles: a worn-looking Rockgard tip is normal
Every wood paddle is hand dipped in varnish four times, then the drip residue is burnished off the tip. That can leave the Rockgard tip looking worn, and it shows up most on the black tips. It is normal and does not affect how the paddle performs.
Filing a claim
Warranty claims are handled by Bending Branches. Submit yours on their warranty page with photos and a description of the issue, and a Bending Branches representative will respond with next steps.

The Angler Pro Carbon is the lightest kayak fishing paddle Bending Branches makes, and the gold standard of the line. A 100% carbon shaft and a compression molded carbon blade deliver a smooth, high-efficiency stroke.
The blade uses a high-tech spread tow weave, which raises strength, stiffness and impact resistance while taking weight out. That suits anglers covering long distances or anyone who puts weight above everything else. The oversized blade runs slightly bigger than some fishing paddles, and that size is what handles trickier conditions and more weight on board.
This is the snap-button version. The snap-button ferrule is fixed length, tight fitting, secure and long-lasting, with no wobbling. It is not as technical as the adjustable systems, and it is one of the more robust options Bending Branches offers. The three-hole design sets feather to 0 or 60 degrees, left or right hand control. The shaft is ovalized where your hands go for comfort, control and fewer blisters.

Bending Branches Angler Pro Carbon Questions, Answered
What does the snap-button ferrule give up?
Adjustability. It is fixed length, and feather sets to 0 or 60 degrees rather than anywhere in between. What you get back is the most robust connection Bending Branches builds. It is tight fitting, secure, long-lasting, and it does not wobble or lose efficiency the way commodity systems do.
What does spread tow weave do?
It increases strength, stiffness and impact resistance while reducing weight. Bending Branches calls it out as ideal for anglers going long distances or prioritizing weight. The stiffness is what you feel in the stroke, because a stiff blade puts your pull into the boat instead of into blade flex.
Why is the blade oversized?
A loaded fishing kayak takes more to move than a bare recreational boat. Bending Branches sizes this blade slightly bigger than some fishing paddles on purpose, and the larger surface is what handles trickier conditions and more weight on board.
What does the ovalized shaft do?
It is shaped oval where your hands sit rather than fully round, so your hands know the blade angle by feel. That matters when you are watching a rod tip instead of your grip, and it limits blisters over a long day.
Can I use the tape measure to check a legal fish?
Not officially. Bending Branches states it is a sizing guide, not an official measuring tool for competitive angling or for determining the legality of a catch, and the printing can vary in accuracy from the manufacturing process. Use it for a quick check on the water.
How does it ship?
Ships parcel, nationwide. It breaks down into two pieces and boxes up, so it goes out as a standard ground shipment.
The strongest, lightest paddle out there! Honestly, the first time I picked it up I had concerns that it would even work; it felt too light to be effective. But it does work; and I can use one hand to turn my kayak while I have a fishing rod in the other.
