Kayak Shipments
We deliver kayaks two ways. Inside our delivery area, we bring your boat to you ourselves. Everywhere else, it ships LTL freight with a carrier that reports a 99.9% damage-free delivery rate. We'll tell you which one you're getting once your order is placed along with more details.
If we hand deliver it
Nothing to inspect, nothing to sign at the curb. We're the ones unloading your kayak, so if anything is wrong, tell us right there and we'll take care of it. We will call before hand for a meetup place.
If it ships LTL freight
Look the boat over before you sign the delivery receipt. If you see damage, write it on the receipt. That one step is what protects your claim. Then email clear photos to helpdesk@cfoutdoors.com within 2 hours of delivery. We also will email you more details on this process once the order is placed.

Cosmetic damage. Light scratches or minor surface dents that don't affect performance or structure. We send a repair kit when one is available. If you'd rather have a replacement, a 20% restocking fee applies plus full shipping back to us.
The Eddyline Caribbean 14 FS is the fishing boat in the line. Fourteen feet, 60 pounds, and 350 pounds of capacity — a highly stable, lightweight hull that Eddyline builds for exceptional tracking, stability and paddling efficiency.
Sixty pounds for a fourteen-foot fishing kayak is the headline. Most boats this size and this well equipped are eighty or ninety, and that difference decides whether you fish on a Tuesday evening or only when someone can help you load. The side carry handles are perfectly balanced for solo handling, and they double as paddle holders.
The rigging is real. Dual accessory tracks on the gunwales plus a 6-inch track on the center spine in the footwell, so a fish finder, a camera arm and a rod holder all mount without a drill. Two flush mount rod holders sit behind the seat. A rear tankwell carries a crate, and three hatches — including a large front hatch — handle internal storage.
Every Eddyline is built from Carbonlite 2000. It is thermoformed rather than rotomolded, from a sheet of two or three compatible layers fused into one. Eddyline’s own description is that it “looks and performs like fiberglass” at a lower cost, and the outer surfaces are harder than other plastics and gel coatings, which is what gives you the abrasion and UV resistance. Compared with a polyethylene hull — cheap and impact resistant, but heavy and prone to abrasion and distortion — you get dimensional stability, real stiffness, and a boat that stays light without going to composite money.

Eddyline Caribbean 14 FS Questions, Answered
Why would I pay more than a rotomolded fishing kayak?
Weight. This is a fully rigged fourteen-foot fishing kayak at 60 pounds, where a comparable rotomolded boat runs twenty to thirty pounds heavier. The Carbonlite hull is also stiffer and has a harder outer surface, so it resists abrasion and holds its shape instead of oil-canning.
Can I stand and fish on it?
Eddyline describes it as highly stable, but they do not publish a standing rating and we will not invent one. It is a 29-inch hull, which is narrower than the 34 to 40-inch stand-and-fish boats. Treat it as a seated fishing kayak that paddles far better than those do.
Caribbean 14 FS or Caribbean 100
Not really a comparison. The 14 FS is four feet longer, carries 350 pounds against 200, and comes rigged with three accessory tracks and two rod holders. The 100 is a light recreational sit-on-top with one 6-inch track. If you are fishing, this is the boat.
Where do the electronics go?
On the tracks. Dual gunwale tracks and the 6-inch center spine track in the footwell take a fish finder, a transducer arm, a camera mount or extra rod holders without putting a single hole in the hull.
Can I carry it by myself?
That is what the side handles are for — Eddyline positions them balanced for solo handling, and they hold your paddle too. At 60 pounds it is a real one-person carry with a cart, and a two-person lift onto a high rack.
What is Carbonlite 2000?
It is Eddyline’s thermoformed hull material, and it is the reason these boats weigh what they weigh. A sheet of two or three compatible layers is fused into one and formed, rather than rotomolded. Eddyline says it “looks and performs like fiberglass” at a lower cost, with harder outer surfaces than other plastics and gel coatings for better abrasion and UV resistance. Scratches and gouges that do not penetrate the substrate are repairable.
What is the warranty?
Eddyline covers every kayak against defects in materials and workmanship for three years from the date of purchase. Deck rigging is covered for two years. The warranty is limited to the original owner and only takes effect once the warranty registration is completed, so do that when the boat arrives. Eddyline never covers scupper cart damage, freight damage, improper storage, improper use, abuse, normal wear and tear, or color fading from UV.
How do I take care of it?
Rinse it with clean fresh water after you paddle — that is usually all it needs. Never use acetone, other strong solvents, or ammonia-based cleaners on an Eddyline. Store it indoors if you can; if it lives outside, get it up off the ground, cover it, and secure it. Carbonlite is UV resistant, but years of direct sun will still break it down. Eddyline recommends treating the hatch covers regularly with something like 303 Aerospace Protectant.
How does the Eddyline Caribbean 14 FS ship?
Two ways. If you are inside our delivery area, local delivery shows up as a shipping option at checkout and we bring the boat to you ourselves. We call ahead to set a meet-up, and since we do the unloading there is nothing for you to inspect or sign at the curb. Otherwise it ships LTL freight with a carrier running a 99.9% damage-free rate. On a freight delivery, look the boat over before you sign the receipt and write down any damage you see. That one step protects your claim. Then email clear photos to helpdesk@cfoutdoors.com within 2 hours. We email the full details once your order is placed.
