Accessory Shipments
Paddles, PFDs, dry bags, helmets, skirts, motors, rod holders, and accessories ship UPS, FedEx, or USPS Ground.
It lands on your doorstep like any other package. We email tracking the day it leaves our shop.
Order gear on the same order as a kayak we're hand delivering or shipping, and it comes with the kayak.
Kayak Shipments
We deliver kayaks two ways. Inside our delivery area, we bring your boat to you ourselves. Everywhere else, it ships LTL freight with a carrier that reports a 99.9% damage-free delivery rate. We'll tell you which one you're getting once your order is placed along with more details.
If we hand deliver it
Nothing to inspect, nothing to sign at the curb. We're the ones unloading your kayak, so if anything is wrong, tell us right there and we'll take care of it. We will call before hand for a meetup place.
If it ships LTL freight
Look the boat over before you sign the delivery receipt. If you see damage, write it on the receipt. That one step is what protects your claim. Then email clear photos to helpdesk@cfoutdoors.com within 2 hours of delivery. We also will email you more details on this process once the order is placed.
What we cover
Structural damage. Anything that compromises the hull or would void the manufacturer's warranty, confirmed with the vendor. We make it right.
Cosmetic damage. Light scratches or minor surface dents that don't affect performance or structure. We send a repair kit when one is available. If you'd rather have a replacement, a 20% restocking fee applies plus full shipping back to us.

The Immersion Research Microwave Handwarmers are neoprene pogies for cold-water paddling. They wrap around the paddle shaft instead of your hand, so your bare skin stays on the grip. You get the warmth of a mitten and none of the lost feel that comes with paddling in gloves.
Hook-and-loop closures cinch tight to the shaft and hold through a full day of rolls and re-grips. A neoprene baffle cuff at the wrist keeps water from flushing in every time you take a stroke, and dual drain holes push out whatever does get through. Plush lining on the inside adds warmth and stops chafing on long runs.

What is a pogie and why not just wear gloves?
A pogie wraps around the paddle shaft instead of around your hand, so your bare skin stays on the grip. You get the warmth of a mitten without the loss of feel and control that comes with paddling in gloves.
Will water flush in every time I take a stroke?
That is what the baffle cuff is for. You punch through a 1mm neoprene baffle at the wrist, which seals around your forearm, and dual drain holes push out whatever still gets in.
Are they 3mm or 1mm neoprene?
Both, in different places. Immersion Research lists 3mm neoprene for the body of the pogie and 1mm for the baffle cuff at the wrist — the cuff is thinner on purpose so you can punch through it and so it seals against your arm.
Will they fit my paddle?
They close with hook and loop around the shaft, so they cinch to whatever diameter you are running. One size, and they work on whitewater, touring and canoe paddles.
