What's up guys, I'm here are in the Pacific Northwest with some of my Hobie fishing team guys. We are fishing for dinosaurs, in the new 2019 Hobie Outback! I have one goal today and that's to break my personal best kayak fish.

Once we got to where we were going, looked over at the Lowrance Hook 5 fishfinder, and at about 48 feet there were fish everywhere. So we knew we were in the right spot for some fish. About that time,I got one....oh that's a good one! He ended up breaking my line.

Knowing there some monsters below us, I started getting a little scared I'd get flipped by one of these beasts. About that time, I seen one of the Hobie fish team guys in the Hobie Revolution and thought if he is in that I am stable in my Outback. Still thought my Hobie Pro Angler 14 would have been nice to have at this time.

It wasn't long though I started hooking into more of them. They keep wanting to dive under stuff down there. Got this sturgeon in and moved onto the next one. So then I got an idea.

Had to get the big guns out.....THE BARBIE ROD! Yes the Barbie rod! Got hooked into one, and it was on! He would pull out line and I would reel in as fast as I could and he got angry. It got to a point where I couldn't do anything. He ended up popping off and breaking the line.

It wasn't long after the Barbie Rod break, I hooked into something HUGE! And the sleigh ride was on! Take a look at the video to see this giant sturgeon! This was one of the best kayak fishing trips ever! Got my new personal kayak best! Goal marked off!
