Accessory Shipments
Paddles, PFDs, dry bags, helmets, skirts, motors, rod holders, and accessories ship UPS, FedEx, or USPS Ground.
It lands on your doorstep like any other package. We email tracking the day it leaves our shop.
Order gear on the same order as a kayak we're hand delivering or shipping, and it comes with the kayak.
Kayak Shipments
We deliver kayaks two ways. Inside our delivery area, we bring your boat to you ourselves. Everywhere else, it ships LTL freight with a carrier that reports a 99.9% damage-free delivery rate. We'll tell you which one you're getting once your order is placed along with more details.
If we hand deliver it
Nothing to inspect, nothing to sign at the curb. We're the ones unloading your kayak, so if anything is wrong, tell us right there and we'll take care of it. We will call before hand for a meetup place.
If it ships LTL freight
Look the boat over before you sign the delivery receipt. If you see damage, write it on the receipt. That one step is what protects your claim. Then email clear photos to helpdesk@cfoutdoors.com within 2 hours of delivery. We also will email you more details on this process once the order is placed.
What we cover
Structural damage. Anything that compromises the hull or would void the manufacturer's warranty, confirmed with the vendor. We make it right.
Cosmetic damage. Light scratches or minor surface dents that don't affect performance or structure. We send a repair kit when one is available. If you'd rather have a replacement, a 20% restocking fee applies plus full shipping back to us.

Inflatable Boards
Badfish covers defects in workmanship and materials on its inflatable boards.
- Coverage: 5 years from the original purchase date.
- Who it covers: Original purchaser only. Serial number and proof of purchase required.
- Not covered: Normal wear and tear, punctures and previous repairs, improper care, handling or storage, heat damage from direct sun, a hot vehicle or a closed board bag, and cosmetic blemishes.
- How a claim is handled: Badfish repairs or replaces boards it confirms are defective.
Rafts, Accessories and Hardware
Badfish does not publish a set term on these.
Filing a claim
Warranty claims are handled by Badfish. Email customerservice@badfishsup.com with the serial number, purchase date, a description of the issue, and photos of the serial number and the damage. Badfish responds within 1 to 2 business days.
Description
The Badfish 3" Soft Flex Center Fin is the shallow-water center fin. Three inches is not much fin, and that is the entire design goal: when the river is low and the bed is rock, the thing sticking down below your board is the thing that stops you.
The flexible material and raked shape work together. When you clip a rock the fin folds and slides over it rather than catching square and stopping the board. That protects the fin box, and it keeps you standing instead of going over the nose.
It fits the center box on a Rivershred or any board with a standard US longboard fin box. Run the 4.5" version when there is more water under you.

Badfish 3" Soft Flex Center Fin Questions, Answered
3" or 4.5"?
Water depth decides. The 3" is for shallow, bony rivers where a taller fin would be dragging and catching. The 4.5" tracks better and is the one to run when there is water beneath you. Both are soft flex and both fit the same box, so owning both is a reasonable move.
Will it fit my board?
Yes, if your board has a standard US longboard center fin box, which is the long slot with a screw and plate. It will not fit a click-fin box, a 2-tab box or an FCS box.
Will I still be able to track with only 3 inches?
Less than with a deeper fin, and you should expect to correct more. On skinny water that is the right trade, because a fin that clears the rocks beats a fin that tracks beautifully until it catches one.
What does soft flex actually do?
It bends. A stiff fin that hits rock drives the whole impact into the fin box, which is how boxes tear out of boards. A soft flex fin folds, absorbs it, and springs back.
Is one fin the whole setup?
For a single-box board, yes. If your board also has side-bite boxes, this is the center fin and you would add a Click Fin Pair or a Two-Tab set for the sides, depending on which boxes it has.
Does it come with the screw and plate?
The fin is sold on its own. A board that came with a US box already has the hardware in it. If the screw or plate has gone missing, Badfish sells that separately and we can get it for you.
