Shipping Damage Free Guarantee

Accessory Shipments

Paddles, PFDs, dry bags, helmets, skirts, motors, rod holders, and accessories ship UPS, FedEx, or USPS Ground.

It lands on your doorstep like any other package. We email tracking the day it leaves our shop.

Order gear on the same order as a kayak we're hand delivering or shipping, and it comes with the kayak.

Kayak Shipments

We deliver kayaks two ways. Inside our delivery area, we bring your boat to you ourselves. Everywhere else, it ships LTL freight with a carrier that reports a 99.9% damage-free delivery rate. We'll tell you which one you're getting once your order is placed along with more details.

If we hand deliver it

Nothing to inspect, nothing to sign at the curb. We're the ones unloading your kayak, so if anything is wrong, tell us right there and we'll take care of it. We will call before hand for a meetup place.

If it ships LTL freight

Look the boat over before you sign the delivery receipt. If you see damage, write it on the receipt. That one step is what protects your claim. Then email clear photos to helpdesk@cfoutdoors.com within 2 hours of delivery. We also will email you more details on this process once the order is placed.

What we cover

The Badfish Rivershred is an inflatable whitewater paddleboard built for river running and river surfing. At 9'0" x 35" with a 6" profile, it holds a line in moving water and stays stable when the river gets pushy, and it works just as well for a lap on the lake.

AirLite drop-stitch construction brings board weight down to 17 lbs, so the carry to the put-in and the load onto your rig are easy. The 2026 board keeps the Rivershred shape paddlers know, scaled slightly smaller for a more playful ride. It fits medium and smaller paddlers best, with a rider capacity of 110 to 220 lbs.

Every Rivershred ships ready to paddle: dual-action pump, backpack board bag, removable tri-fin, and a 3-piece paddle are all in the box, and the board carries a 5-year warranty.

Badfish Rivershred Questions, Answered

Who does the 9'0" fit best?

Medium and smaller paddlers, 110 to 220 lbs. The 2026 board was scaled down slightly for a more playful ride. If you are near the top of that range or you want more glide, look at the River Runner instead.

Rivershred or River Runner?

Rivershred is the river surfer. It is shorter, looser, and quicker to turn on a wave. River Runner is 10'6", tracks faster, and glides better on flatwater while still handling moving water. Pick the Rivershred if you are chasing waves and features, the River Runner if you are covering river miles and lakes.

What fins does it come with, and what fits it?

It ships with a removable tri-fin setup. The side bites are click fins, so they snap in with no screws or hardware at all. The 4.5" Soft Flex Click Fin Pair is the stock replacement, and Soft Flex is what you want on a river because the fin bends on a rock strike instead of tearing out the box.

What comes in the box?

Board, dual-action pump, backpack board bag, the fins, and a 3-piece paddle. It is a complete setup, not a board plus a shopping list.

Can I actually surf a river wave on it?

That is what it was built for. The 9'0" length and 6" profile let it sit in a wave and turn without washing off, and the tri-fin gives you hold when you are carving. It is still stable enough to run the whole stretch to get there.

What leash should I use on a river?

A releasable one. Never wear a fixed coil ankle leash on moving water. In current it can pin you to a strainer with no way out. Use a Badfish Re-Leash, which releases under load with a snap shackle. The 6' Straight Re-Leash is the river surfing length, the 8' Coiled Re-Leash is for river running.

How does it ship?

Ships parcel, nationwide. It packs down small enough to box, so it goes out as a standard ground shipment.
