Order gear on the same order as a kayak we're hand delivering or shipping, and it comes with the kayak.

Kayak Shipments

We deliver kayaks two ways. Inside our delivery area, we bring your boat to you ourselves. Everywhere else, it ships LTL freight with a carrier that reports a 99.9% damage-free delivery rate. We'll tell you which one you're getting once your order is placed along with more details.

If we hand deliver it

Nothing to inspect, nothing to sign at the curb. We're the ones unloading your kayak, so if anything is wrong, tell us right there and we'll take care of it. We will call before hand for a meetup place.

If it ships LTL freight

Look the boat over before you sign the delivery receipt. If you see damage, write it on the receipt. That one step is what protects your claim. Then email clear photos to helpdesk@cfoutdoors.com within 2 hours of delivery. We also will email you more details on this process once the order is placed.

What we cover

Structural damage. Anything that compromises the hull or would void the manufacturer's warranty, confirmed with the vendor. We make it right.

Cosmetic damage. Light scratches or minor surface dents that don't affect performance or structure. We send a repair kit when one is available. If you'd rather have a replacement, a 20% restocking fee applies plus full shipping back to us.

The Eddyline Caribbean 100 is a sleek, lightweight sit-on-top designed for easy transport, storage, and solo handling. At 40 pounds and ten feet, Eddyline says it delivers stability, tracking and maneuverability in a compact package — and the weight is what makes all of that reachable, because a boat you cannot move alone is a boat you use less.

The seat is removable, built with marine-grade foam and UV-resistant mesh, and clips into place in seconds. It sits raised, which gives you visibility and a dry ride. Four scuppers drain the deck, the seat pan is self-draining, and a stern drain plug empties the interior if water ever gets in.

An 8-inch bow hatch and a 5.25-inch quarter-turn tankwell hatch reach most of the interior. The cockpit has adjustable foot braces and a 6-inch accessory gear track, so a rod holder, a phone mount or a camera arm bolts on without drilling the hull. Bow and stern webbing carry handles make two-person handling comfortable.

Every Eddyline is built from Carbonlite 2000. It is thermoformed rather than rotomolded, from a sheet of two or three compatible layers fused into one. Eddyline’s own description is that it “looks and performs like fiberglass” at a lower cost, and the outer surfaces are harder than other plastics and gel coatings, which is what gives you the abrasion and UV resistance. Compared with a polyethylene hull — cheap and impact resistant, but heavy and prone to abrasion and distortion — you get dimensional stability, real stiffness, and a boat that stays light without going to composite money.

Eddyline Caribbean 100 Questions, Answered

Is 200 pounds of capacity enough for me?

It is the number to check before anything else — Eddyline sizes the Caribbean 100 for small to medium paddlers and rates it to 200 pounds total, including your gear. If you are near that, step up to the Caribbean 14 FS at 350 pounds.

Sit-on-top or sit-in?

A sit-on-top drains itself, is impossible to get trapped in, and is far easier to get back onto in deep water. You also sit more exposed and you will get wetter. For warm water, fishing, and anyone nervous about a closed cockpit, the sit-on-top wins.

Can I fish from it?

Eddyline lists fishing as an intended use, and the 6-inch gear track takes a rod holder. It is a recreational sit-on-top rather than a dedicated fishing platform — the Caribbean 14 FS is the one with flush mount rod holders and three accessory tracks.

Does water get inside the hull?

It should not, but the stern drain plug is there so you can empty it if it ever does. Day to day the four scuppers and the self-draining seat pan handle everything that lands on the deck.

What is Carbonlite 2000?

It is Eddyline’s thermoformed hull material, and it is the reason these boats weigh what they weigh. A sheet of two or three compatible layers is fused into one and formed, rather than rotomolded. Eddyline says it “looks and performs like fiberglass” at a lower cost, with harder outer surfaces than other plastics and gel coatings for better abrasion and UV resistance. Scratches and gouges that do not penetrate the substrate are repairable.

What is the warranty?

Eddyline covers every kayak against defects in materials and workmanship for three years from the date of purchase. Deck rigging is covered for two years. The warranty is limited to the original owner and only takes effect once the warranty registration is completed, so do that when the boat arrives. Eddyline never covers scupper cart damage, freight damage, improper storage, improper use, abuse, normal wear and tear, or color fading from UV.

How do I take care of it?

Rinse it with clean fresh water after you paddle — that is usually all it needs. Never use acetone, other strong solvents, or ammonia-based cleaners on an Eddyline. Store it indoors if you can; if it lives outside, get it up off the ground, cover it, and secure it. Carbonlite is UV resistant, but years of direct sun will still break it down. Eddyline recommends treating the hatch covers regularly with something like 303 Aerospace Protectant.

How does the Eddyline Caribbean 100 ship?

Two ways. If you are inside our delivery area, local delivery shows up as a shipping option at checkout and we bring the boat to you ourselves. We call ahead to set a meet-up, and since we do the unloading there is nothing for you to inspect or sign at the curb. Otherwise it ships LTL freight with a carrier running a 99.9% damage-free rate. On a freight delivery, look the boat over before you sign the receipt and write down any damage you see. That one step protects your claim.
