Kayak Shipments
We deliver kayaks two ways. Inside our delivery area, we bring your boat to you ourselves. Everywhere else, it ships LTL freight with a carrier that reports a 99.9% damage-free delivery rate. We'll tell you which one you're getting once your order is placed along with more details.
If we hand deliver it
Nothing to inspect, nothing to sign at the curb. We're the ones unloading your kayak, so if anything is wrong, tell us right there and we'll take care of it. We will call before hand for a meetup place.
If it ships LTL freight
Look the boat over before you sign the delivery receipt. If you see damage, write it on the receipt. That one step is what protects your claim. Then email clear photos to helpdesk@cfoutdoors.com within 2 hours of delivery. We also will email you more details on this process once the order is placed.
What we cover
Structural damage. Anything that compromises the hull or would void the manufacturer's warranty, confirmed with the vendor. We make it right.
Cosmetic damage. Light scratches or minor surface dents that don't affect performance or structure. We send a repair kit when one is available. If you'd rather have a replacement, a 20% restocking fee applies plus full shipping back to us.

The Eddyline Sandpiper 130 is the classic Sandpiper 120 stretched to thirteen feet, given an 18-inch oval rear hatch, and fitted with a framed seat. Eddyline’s own pitch is the honest one: bring a dog, a camera, camping gear, and don’t forget the fishing rod.
The big cockpit carries over — 48 by 22 inches, so getting in or out is still a breeze. What the extra foot buys you is capacity and tracking: 390 pounds, the most in the recreational line, and a longer waterline that holds a line when you are loaded down.
The seat is the detail people end up talking about. It is a removable SOT frame seat, so when you land you pop it out and use it as a camp chair. Paddle for hours in comfort, then sit in that same seat at the fire.
Every Eddyline is built from Carbonlite 2000. It is thermoformed rather than rotomolded, from a sheet of two or three compatible layers fused into one. Eddyline’s own description is that it “looks and performs like fiberglass” at a lower cost, and the outer surfaces are harder than other plastics and gel coatings, which is what gives you the abrasion and UV resistance. Compared with a polyethylene hull — cheap and impact resistant, but heavy and prone to abrasion and distortion — you get dimensional stability, real stiffness, and a boat that stays light without going to composite money.

Is the camp chair thing real?
Yes. The framed seat lifts out of the boat and works as a chair on land. That is Eddyline’s own suggestion, and it is the single most useful feature on a kayak you plan to camp out of.
Sandpiper 130 or 120?
The 130 gives you a foot of length, 40 more pounds of capacity, a 17-inch oval rear hatch, and the removable framed seat. It costs you 16 pounds of boat weight — 54 against 38. If you load heavy or camp, take the 130. If loading it alone every trip is the priority, take the 120.
Can I fish out of it?
Eddyline lists fishing as an intended use for this one, and the capacity and deck space support it. It is a recreational hull rather than a dedicated fishing kayak, so if you want rod holders and gear tracks built in, look at the Caribbean 14 FS instead.
Is 54 pounds a one-person load?
It is the heaviest boat in the recreational line and the honest answer is that it depends on you and your vehicle. A cart makes the walk easy. A roller or a load-assist rack makes the car easy.
What is Carbonlite 2000?
It is Eddyline’s thermoformed hull material, and it is the reason these boats weigh what they weigh. A sheet of two or three compatible layers is fused into one and formed, rather than rotomolded. Eddyline says it “looks and performs like fiberglass” at a lower cost, with harder outer surfaces than other plastics and gel coatings for better abrasion and UV resistance. Scratches and gouges that do not penetrate the substrate are repairable.
What is the warranty?
Eddyline covers every kayak against defects in materials and workmanship for three years from the date of purchase. Deck rigging is covered for two years. The warranty is limited to the original owner and only takes effect once the warranty registration is completed, so do that when the boat arrives. Eddyline never covers scupper cart damage, freight damage, improper storage, improper use, abuse, normal wear and tear, or color fading from UV.
How do I take care of it?
Rinse it with clean fresh water after you paddle — that is usually all it needs. Never use acetone, other strong solvents, or ammonia-based cleaners on an Eddyline. Store it indoors if you can; if it lives outside, get it up off the ground, cover it, and secure it. Carbonlite is UV resistant, but years of direct sun will still break it down. Eddyline recommends treating the hatch covers regularly with something like 303 Aerospace Protectant.
How does the Eddyline Sandpiper 130 ship?
Two ways. If you are inside our delivery area, local delivery shows up as a shipping option at checkout and we bring the boat to you ourselves. We call ahead to set a meet-up, and since we do the unloading there is nothing for you to inspect or sign at the curb. Otherwise it ships LTL freight with a carrier running a 99.9% damage-free rate. On a freight delivery, look the boat over before you sign the receipt and write down any damage you see. That one step protects your claim.
