Shipping Damage Free Guarantee
Accessory Shipments
Paddles, PFDs, dry bags, helmets, skirts, motors, rod holders, and accessories ship UPS, FedEx, or USPS Ground.
It lands on your doorstep like any other package. We email tracking the day it leaves our shop.
Order gear on the same order as a kayak we're hand delivering or shipping, and it comes with the kayak.
Kayak Shipments
We deliver kayaks two ways. Inside our delivery area, we bring your boat to you ourselves. Everywhere else, it ships LTL freight with a carrier that reports a 99.9% damage-free delivery rate. We'll tell you which one you're getting once your order is placed along with more details.
If we hand deliver it
Nothing to inspect, nothing to sign at the curb. We're the ones unloading your kayak, so if anything is wrong, tell us right there and we'll take care of it. We will call before hand for a meetup place.
If it ships LTL freight
Look the boat over before you sign the delivery receipt. If you see damage, write it on the receipt. That one step is what protects your claim. Then email clear photos to helpdesk@cfoutdoors.com within 2 hours of delivery. We also will email you more details on this process once the order is placed.
What we cover
Structural damage. Anything that compromises the hull or would void the manufacturer's warranty, confirmed with the vendor. We make it right.
Cosmetic damage. Light scratches or minor surface dents that don't affect performance or structure. We send a repair kit when one is available. If you'd rather have a replacement, a 20% restocking fee applies plus full shipping back to us.

Native Watercraft requires you to register your kayak, and your Propel drive if it has one, on the Native Watercraft website within 14 days of purchase for the warranty to activate. Keep your sales receipt as proof of purchase.
Not covered
Normal wear and color discoloration, structural or dimensional alterations, damage from improper storage or transport including ratchet straps, damage from winching the boat onto a trailer, use the kayak was not designed for, rental or commercial service, and color variation between boats. On the Propel drive, also skipped maintenance, transporting the kayak with the drive still in it, non-approved lubricants, and crank arms tightened past 26 ft/lb.
Filing a claim
Native Watercraft requires every warranty claim to come through the dealer you bought from. That is us, so we handle it. Email helpdesk@cfoutdoors.com with your proof of purchase, the model, the kayak and Propel serial numbers, a description of the issue, and photos or video. We submit it to Native Watercraft and follow it through.
The Native Watercraft Slayer Propel Max 10 (2026+) Wizard Steering Adapter Kit is the part that lets the Native Watercraft Wizard FCS (Foot Controlled Steering) Kit mount to a Slayer Propel Max 10. Native requires it on 2026 model year and newer Max 10 kayaks.
Read the model year carefully before you order. Native is clear that the Wizard FCS is not compatible with earlier model year Max 10 kayaks, and this adapter does not change that. It makes the 2026-and-newer fit work. It does not make an older one work.
Every other kayak the Wizard FCS fits needs no adapter. This one part exists for one kayak.

Native Watercraft Wizard Steering Adapter Kit Questions, Answered
Do I need this kit?
Only if you have a Native Watercraft Slayer Propel Max 10 from the 2026 model year or newer and you are fitting the Wizard FCS foot steering kit. Every other kayak the Wizard FCS fits installs without it.
I have an older Slayer Propel Max 10. Will this make the Wizard FCS fit?
No. Native states plainly that the Wizard FCS is not compatible with Max 10 kayaks earlier than the 2026 model year, and this adapter does not change that. If you are not sure which model year you have, call us at (615) 696-7887 with your serial number and we will check it before you buy anything.
Is the steering kit included?
No. This is the adapter only. The Wizard FCS (Foot Controlled Steering) Kit is sold separately, and you need both for a 2026 or newer Max 10.
What does the Wizard FCS actually do?
It moves steering from your hands to your feet, so you steer the motor or the rudder while both hands stay on the rod. The controls ride on bearings rather than sliding plastic, and leg length and steering position both adjust.
Is this the same thing as an Anchor Wizard?
No, and the names catch people out. An Anchor Wizard is an anchoring system that holds you on a spot. The Wizard FCS is foot steering that points the kayak. This adapter is for the steering kit.
How does it ship?
Ships parcel, nationwide. It boxes up as a standard ground shipment.
