It lands on your doorstep like any other package. We email tracking the day it leaves our shop.

Order gear on the same order as a kayak we're hand delivering or shipping, and it comes with the kayak.

Kayak Shipments

We deliver kayaks two ways. Inside our delivery area, we bring your boat to you ourselves. Everywhere else, it ships LTL freight with a carrier that reports a 99.9% damage-free delivery rate. We'll tell you which one you're getting once your order is placed along with more details.

If we hand deliver it

Nothing to inspect, nothing to sign at the curb. We're the ones unloading your kayak, so if anything is wrong, tell us right there and we'll take care of it. We will call before hand for a meetup place.

If it ships LTL freight

Look the boat over before you sign the delivery receipt. If you see damage, write it on the receipt. That one step is what protects your claim. Then email clear photos to helpdesk@cfoutdoors.com within 2 hours of delivery. We also will email you more details on this process once the order is placed.

What we cover

Structural damage. Anything that compromises the hull or would void the manufacturer's warranty, confirmed with the vendor. We make it right.

Cosmetic damage. Light scratches or minor surface dents that don't affect performance or structure. We send a repair kit when one is available. If you'd rather have a replacement, a 20% restocking fee applies plus full shipping back to us.
Suspenz Warranty

Racks, Carts and Stands

  • Coverage: Limited lifetime warranty against defects in material or workmanship, as long as the product is used for its intended purpose under normal conditions.
  • Rust and paint: 2 years from the original purchase date. After the first year you cover shipping on a replacement.
  • Who it covers: Original owner only. The warranty does not transfer.
  • Not covered: Improper assembly, failure to adjust and operate the product correctly, and any unauthorized alteration. Steel products used in saltwater are excluded from the rust warranty.

Most kayak carts quit where the pavement does. The Suspenz All-Terrain Super Duty Airless Cart is built for the part of the trip that actually hurts: soft sand, loose gravel, mud, roots and grass between the truck and the water.

Two numbers explain the whole cart. The wheels are 15 inches across, and there is 11 inches of ground clearance under the frame. Small hard wheels dig in and stop. Big wheels roll over. That is the entire difference between walking a loaded boat to the water and dragging it.

They are airless, so there is nothing to inflate, nothing to pinch and no flat waiting for you at the ramp on a Saturday morning. The frame is powder coated steel rated to 350 lbs, which covers a fully rigged fishing kayak with the crate and the cooler still in it.

Read this part before you buy. Suspenz is direct about it: these carts are for transport only. Storing your kayak sitting on the cart will damage the airless wheels. Roll the boat down, take the cart out, store the boat on a rack.

Will it fit my kayak?

Almost certainly. The BUNKER BARS® adjust from 9 in to 20 in wide across three positions and handle tunnel and catamaran hulls, V-shaped hulls and flat bottoms. Wide fishing kayaks are the one place to pay attention. Suspenz sells taller Xtra Tall Bunker Bars specifically to convert this cart for boats like the Old Town Sportsman line and the Native Ultimate. What does airless actually mean?

The wheels are solid. There is no inner tube and no air in them, so there is nothing to inflate before a trip and nothing to go flat while the boat is sitting on it. You give up a little of the cushion a pneumatic tire gives you over sharp rocks. Most people take that trade the first time a pneumatic cart goes flat at the ramp.

Can I leave my kayak sitting on it?

No, and this is the one instruction on this product that matters. Suspenz states plainly that their carts are for transport only, and that storing a kayak on the cart will damage the airless wheels. Constant load in one spot deforms a solid wheel. Roll the boat down, pull the cart, store the boat on a rack or on padded supports.

Will it take a loaded fishing kayak?

Yes. 350 lbs of load capacity covers essentially any single-person fishing kayak with gear still in it. A 120 lb pedal kayak plus a battery, a loaded crate and a cooler is comfortably inside that number.

How is this different from an onboard cart?

This is a standalone cart. You push the boat onto it, roll it down, then carry the cart back or stash it. Scupper cart, bunk cart, or this one?

Does it work in soft sand?

That is what the 15 in wheels are for. Soft sand and loose gravel are where narrow hard wheels stop dead. No cart is effortless in deep dry sand with a heavy boat, but this is the shape of cart that gets through it.

Can I use it on a canoe?

Yes. The adjustable bars handle flat and V-shaped canoe hulls, and the 350 lb capacity is well past what a solo or tandem canoe weighs. Suspenz builds and markets it as a kayak and canoe cart.

Do I need to assemble it?

It folds rather than disassembles. The wheels are not quick release, so the wheels stay on. Unfold it, set the bar width for your hull once, and after that it is unfold and go.

Does it come with straps?

Yes, two sets of 98 in cam buckle straps are included, and so is the spring-loaded kickstand. No storage bag is included.

How do I take care of it?

Rinse the frame and the wheel bearings with fresh water after saltwater or a muddy launch, and let it dry before it folds away. Keep the load off the wheels between trips. That is the whole maintenance list.
