The Werner Camano adjustable is the low angle fishing paddle on the LeverLock shaft, and for 2027 it comes in the two new graphics, Mosaic Bass and Tailing Red. The blade is the same long, narrow, award winning Camano shape. What is different is that you can change the length without getting out of the kayak.
LeverLock gives you 20 centimeters of travel. Open the lever, slide, close. On a fishing kayak that matters more than it sounds, because the right length is not a fixed number. Sitting low and covering water is one length. Standing on the deck to sight fish a flat is another. A borrowed hull six inches wider is another again.
Above the joint it is Werner Premium: fiberglass blade at 650 square centimeters, 52 by 16.5 centimeters, dihedral power face, carbon straight shaft in Standard diameter. The adjustable shaft brings the paddle to 30 ounces, which is the lightest of the two LeverLock paddles in this 2027 fishing group.

Key Features
- 2027 Fishing Graphics: Mosaic Bass and Tailing Red, the two new designs Werner built for anglers.
- LeverLock Adjustable Shaft: 20 centimeters of length change with one lever, one handed, from the seat.
- Low Angle Blade: 52 by 16.5 centimeters, long and narrow, built to load progressively and keep the cadence relaxed over a full day.
- Three Length Ranges: 220 to 240, 240 to 260, and 260 to 280 cm, which covers narrow sit insides through wide stand up fishing platforms.
- Dihedral Power Face: The blade sheds water evenly off both sides of the spine, which is what keeps the paddle from fluttering and wandering mid stroke.
- Carbon Straight Shaft: Standard diameter carbon, tuned for flex and strength rather than raw stiffness, which is what your shoulders notice at the end of a long day.
- Translucent Fiberglass Blades: The 2027 fishing graphics are laid into a translucent fiberglass laminate, so the pattern reads differently depending on how the light hits the blade.
- Reaches 280 cm: The longest setting in this 2027 fishing group, which is what a low angle stroke needs on the widest hulls with the seat all the way up.

Werner Camano Adjustable Questions, Answered
How does LeverLock work?
A cam lever clamps the inner shaft section. Open it, slide to length, close it. It holds under load, it resets in a second, and it needs no tools, so you can change length while you are drifting.
How much adjustment do I get?
Up to 20 centimeters, inside whichever range you order. A 240 to 260 paddle covers every length between those two numbers but does not reach past them, so the range you pick matters more than an exact number does.
Which length range should I order?
Take the fixed length you would otherwise buy and pick the range it sits in the middle of. Wide fishing kayak with the seat up, 240 to 260. Tall angler standing on a very wide hull, 260 to 280. Narrower hull with a low seat, 220 to 240. Low angle paddlers generally go one size longer than high angle paddlers in the same kayak.
What are Mosaic Bass and Tailing Red?
The two new 2027 fishing graphics from Werner, offered on the Camano and the Shuna. Mosaic Bass is green and gold scales. Tailing Red is copper and orange. Both print into the translucent fiberglass laminate.
Why is it heavier than the fixed length Camano?
The LeverLock hardware and the overlapping shaft sections add material. The fixed length Camano is 26.75 ounces against 30 here. That is what adjustment costs, and it is a trade most stand up anglers take happily.
Does the feather angle adjust too?
Yes. The LeverLock shaft sets the offset between the blades as well as the length, so the feather is not fixed.
Low angle or high angle?
This is the low angle blade, for the relaxed stroke with the shaft closer to flat. If you paddle steeper with the top hand up near your shoulder, you want the Shuna adjustable, the same LeverLock shaft under a high angle blade.
How does it ship?
Ships parcel, nationwide, broken down at the joint. We are in Silver Point, Tennessee, so come work the lever and swing both blade shapes if you would rather decide in person.
