Shipping Damage Free Guarantee

Accessory Shipments

Paddles, PFDs, dry bags, helmets, skirts, motors, rod holders, and accessories ship UPS, FedEx, or USPS Ground.

It lands on your doorstep like any other package. We email tracking the day it leaves our shop.

Order gear on the same order as a kayak we're hand delivering or shipping, and it comes with the kayak.

Kayak Shipments

We deliver kayaks two ways. Inside our delivery area, we bring your boat to you ourselves. Everywhere else, it ships LTL freight with a carrier that reports a 99.9% damage-free delivery rate. We'll tell you which one you're getting once your order is placed along with more details.

If we hand deliver it

Nothing to inspect, nothing to sign at the curb. We're the ones unloading your kayak, so if anything is wrong, tell us right there and we'll take care of it. We will call before hand for a meetup place.

If it ships LTL freight

Look the boat over before you sign the delivery receipt. If you see damage, write it on the receipt. That one step is what protects your claim. Then email clear photos to helpdesk@cfoutdoors.com within 2 hours of delivery. We also will email you more details on this process once the order is placed.

What we cover

Structural damage. Anything that compromises the hull or would void the manufacturer's warranty, confirmed with the vendor. We make it right.

Cosmetic damage. Light scratches or minor surface dents that don't affect performance or structure. We send a repair kit when one is available. If you'd rather have a replacement, a 20% restocking fee applies plus full shipping back to us.

The Badfish Inflatable SUP Backpack Board Bag is the same bag that ships with every Badfish inflatable, sold on its own because it is a genuinely good gear hauler and bags wear out before boards do.

The parts that fail on a cheap board bag are the fabric, the zipper and the buckles. This one uses reinforced Cordura, a YKK zipper, and buckles large enough to work with cold hands. Wide padded shoulder straps carry a rolled board and a pump to the put-in, and the internal strapping keeps the load from shifting on the walk.

Three sizes, and they are not interchangeable. Standard fits the Monarch, Surf Traveler, IRS, Selfie and Rat Rod. SURF fits the ISK8 and Wavo. XL fits the Rivershred and Badfisher.

Specifications

  • Material: Reinforced Cordura
  • Zipper: YKK
  • Straps: Wide padded shoulder straps, internal strapping system
  • Standard Fits: Monarch, Surf Traveler, IRS, Selfie, Rat Rod
  • SURF Fits: ISK8, Wavo

Key Features

  • Reinforced Cordura: The fabric that decides how long a board bag lasts.
  • YKK Zipper: The part that fails first on a cheap bag.
  • Oversized Buckles: Workable with cold or wet hands.
  • Padded Shoulder Straps: Carries board, pump and paddle to the water.
  • Internal Strapping: Compresses the load so it does not shift on the walk.

Badfish Inflatable Paddle Board Backpack Board Bag Questions, Answered

Which size do I need?

Go by board. Standard takes the Monarch, Surf Traveler, IRS, Selfie and Rat Rod. SURF takes the ISK8 and Wavo. XL takes the Rivershred and Badfisher. Ordering the wrong size means a bag you cannot close or a board rattling around loose.

Isn't this the bag my board came with?

Yes, if you bought a Badfish inflatable new. This listing is for a replacement when yours wears out, or a second bag if you have more than one board.

Will the pump and paddle fit too?

That is what it is designed for. A rolled board, a dual-action pump and a 3-piece paddle all go in, which is why the whole Badfish kit travels as one carry.

Can I fly with it?

It is the standard way people travel with an inflatable, and being able to check the whole kit as one bag is most of the appeal of an inflatable board. Watch the weight limit once the board, pump and paddle are in.

Will it hold a hard board?

No. This is cut for a rolled inflatable. Hard boards need the padded board bags: the SK8 Board Bag, River Surfer Board Bag or Snapper Board Bag depending on the board.

Should I store my board rolled in it?

For a season, better to store the board loosely rolled or flat and fully dry. Long storage tightly compressed in a bag puts a permanent crease in the drop stitch. Dry it out before it goes in the garage for winter.
