Shipping Damage Free Guarantee

Accessory Shipments

Paddles, PFDs, dry bags, helmets, skirts, motors, rod holders, and accessories ship UPS, FedEx, or USPS Ground.

It lands on your doorstep like any other package. We email tracking the day it leaves our shop.

Order gear on the same order as a kayak we're hand delivering or shipping, and it comes with the kayak.

Kayak Shipments

We deliver kayaks two ways. Inside our delivery area, we bring your boat to you ourselves. Everywhere else, it ships LTL freight with a carrier that reports a 99.9% damage-free delivery rate. We'll tell you which one you're getting once your order is placed along with more details.

If we hand deliver it

Nothing to inspect, nothing to sign at the curb. We're the ones unloading your kayak, so if anything is wrong, tell us right there and we'll take care of it. We will call before hand for a meetup place.

If it ships LTL freight

Look the boat over before you sign the delivery receipt. If you see damage, write it on the receipt. That one step is what protects your claim. Then email clear photos to helpdesk@cfoutdoors.com within 2 hours of delivery. We also will email you more details on this process once the order is placed.

What we cover

Structural damage. Anything that compromises the hull or would void the manufacturer's warranty, confirmed with the vendor. We make it right.

Cosmetic damage. Light scratches or minor surface dents that don't affect performance or structure. We send a repair kit when one is available. If you'd rather have a replacement, a 20% restocking fee applies plus full shipping back to us.

The Monarch is Badfish's best-selling inflatable paddleboard, built for anyone who wants one board that handles calm lake mornings, slow-moving rivers, and open water without giving anything up. At 11' x 34" x 5.5", it is wide and stable enough for a first-time paddler, and it still glides well for experienced riders who want to cover real distance.

For 2026, Badfish reworked the Monarch from the ground up. Welded seams replace glued construction for better air retention and long-term durability. The new AirLite drop-stitch core cuts 10 lbs off the board, so it is easier to carry, inflate, and pack down. A hinged fin box holds a removable center fin, and kayak-seat D-rings let you rig a seat and paddle it kayak-style when you want a lower center of gravity on a windy day.

Every Monarch ships as a complete kit: dual-action pump, breakdown travel paddle, coil ankle leash, keel fin, and a backpack board bag. Rider capacity runs 100 to 230 lbs.

Badfish Monarch Questions, Answered

Is the Monarch a good first paddleboard?

It is one of the easiest boards to learn on. 34" wide and 5.5" thick is a lot of stability underfoot, and the 100 to 230 lb rider range covers most adults with room for gear. Most people are standing and paddling inside the first ten minutes.

What comes in the box?

Everything you need to paddle: the board, a dual-action pump, a breakdown travel paddle, a coil ankle leash, the keel fin, and a backpack board bag. There is nothing else you have to buy first.

Can I really paddle it like a kayak?

Yes. The kayak-seat D-rings are there for it. Drop a seat in and you are sitting low, which is a big help on windy days or when you want to fish. The Badfish Perch Fishing Chair mounts to those same D-rings.

What changed on the 2026 Monarch?

Two things that matter. The seams are welded instead of glued, which is the single biggest factor in how long an inflatable holds air. And the AirLite core dropped 10 lbs, so it is 18 lbs now. Lighter board, fewer pump strokes, easier carry.

Monarch or River Runner?

Monarch if your water is lakes, open water, and slow rivers, and you want the most stable, most versatile board. River Runner if you are running moving water with real features in it. The River Runner is shorter at 10'6", carries a removable tri-fin, and is built to handle a pushy river.

Is the included leash safe to use on a river?

No. The coil ankle leash in the box is a fixed leash and should never be worn on moving water. In current, a fixed leash can pin you to a strainer with no way to get free. It is fine on a lake. If you are paddling a river, wear a Badfish Re-Leash instead, which has a snap shackle you can release under load.

How does it ship?

Ships parcel, nationwide. It packs down small enough to box, so it goes out as a standard ground shipment.
